TNA's 2016 Plans And What They've Told Investors

We've noted recently that TNA has been looking for investors to help out their brand and product. We've gained some exclusive information as to what the company has been telling investors during these meetings.

TNA apparently has television tapings starting on March 15 with a somewhat live episode of Impact. The episode that will air that night will be taped earlier in the evening, with a full set of tapings to follow.

We've been told that the tapings are set for Universal Studios in Orlando. TNA hasn't been there since July 30, 2015, as they've instead taped in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania and in the United Kingdom.

TNA has also told investors that they're looking to run 50 shows in 2016. This is said to not just be at Universal Studios, although it looks like that will be the home base for the promotion again.

It is really worth it on a wrestler stand point to but yourself through this? Yeah you get paid but for what you get paid and the TV deal that isn't what it used to be on how many people see it compared to Spike. I heard how bad of shape the wrestlers who did the last taping where why put yourself through it again? I don't see it how it's a good thing.

Also, March 3rd marked the first day of the tenth week of 2016. We all know that a year has 52 weeks, thus leaving 42 weeks in the year meaning a potential for 42 more first run Impacts. Say there's two, maybe three PPVs left this year, at max, that brings us to 45 shows total.

But there are more questions! Are the TV tapings just going to count as one show? We know that Xplosion doesn't count because if they counted that and Impact, that would be 82 (televised) shows, exceeding their number. If that's the case, we'll see (maximum) 10-15 more taping days meaning at maximum, that'd be 18 total shows. If we gave them credit for doing 42 weeks of TV in 21 sets of double tapings, then we're up to a maximum of 24 shows.

Do we really trust that TNA will run anywhere from 5-26 house shows this year?

It means that the beginning of the show will probably be airing while the end of the show is happening in real life. It's a stupid way to word it though. Just say it's on a however many hours tape delay.
