Well, that would be a classic case of addition by subtraction if it's actually true.

Wouldn't surprise me. Think there was some weirdness with the UK tour that Anderson was IN the UK but doing indy dates instead of actually competing for TNA.

I used to be a fan of the guy, and on occasion, they used him decently, but his act got old, and his misses got more frequent than the hits. I hope he has been smart with his money, for his sake, just since there's very little chance of WWE rehiring him.

I hope he has been smart with his money, for his sake, just since there's very little chance of WWE rehiring him. In fairness, I thought he was one of the few bright spots of the Aces and Eights storyline. He was at his most obnoxious, and it seemed like they had a really good storyline brewing where he passed up DOC for the vacant VP role, which would lead to DOC breaking from the group. But then TNA had budget cuts which meant that they did not renew Gallows's contract, and then Anderson ended up turning face in DOC's place, which ruined everything. Even then, Anderson still gave us one more great moment before he became an uninspired babyface yet again.

It's the equivalent of a teen babysitting the neighbor's kid every once in a while to get pocket change to buy a new CD they want to get. The difference is...babysitting probably pays more.

Should've been gone ages ago, IMO. It was getting to the point where he was being shoehorned everywhere to justify his paycheck and dragging everything he was being shoehorned into down with him.

I'm not surprised. Dude hasn't justified whatever they've been paying him in years. Awful performer. One of the worst I've ever seen on a major TV show and I'm not joking.

Nice to see him go for that ''f*** my former employer'' cheap pop again. How about trying trying to reinvent yourself, mate? After getting the push in WWE and then in TNA and failing to capitalize on both occasions, one would think the best option would be to start looking for faults in yourself.

Nice to see him go for that ''f*** my former employer'' cheap pop again. How about trying trying to reinvent yourself, mate? After getting the push in WWE and then in TNA and failing to capitalize on both occasions, one would think the best option would be to start looking for faults in yourself. To say he failed in TNA is a joke. How can you capitalize on anything when you turn him face and Heel what was just about monthly? That problem with TNA is they have no direction and half the time have no clue what they are doing with him. Anytime he started to gain ground they turned him. Look at his run, for example when he first debut as a heel he was awesome and was playing that role to a "T". He had that feud with Angle that lead to the cage match at Lockdown that was IMO his best match in his career. Right after that they turned him face with that whole "A-hole" stuff trying to make it the new "Austin". Then was played in that horrible Concussion angle. Right after that he turns heel and joins the group they just tried to end his career. Like a month or two later he kicked out of Immortal back to face again and then turns again for Aces and Eights. Not long he back as a face doing that thing with Sam Shaw. Face it TNA turned him and Austin Aries so much it was like the where trying to break Big Show and Kane record as fast as they could. TNA problem is not someone capitalizing on something but screwing it up when someone starts to capitalize on something. Hell Samoa Joe is the PRIME example of this. He and Angle brought TNA HIGHEST PPV Buyrate in company history. What did TNA do? Turned Joe isn't this whiner and taking away every part of what made Joe so appealling in the first place leading Joe to not give a crap. TNA booking is for more to blame then Anderson or anybody else becasue they have done this several times where they don't stick with something. Monty Brown is another good example. Just as he was getting really over with the crowd as a face. BOOM for no good reason they turned him and killed what he had built for himself.

not the best in the world and probably wont get much blame thrown at him for his f*** tna stance as most will have the same stance (one that many have expressed on this board, the recent kurt wrestled with concussion thread is an example.) but with him actually experiencing tna first hand has more than enough reason for taking it.

TNA sources told PWInsider that Anderson was let go for behavior reasons at the last tv tapings in Pennsylvania. See the character assassination is in effect. No word on his release for weeks but after he goes "f*** TNA" on an indy show, suddenly he's a problem child.
