Holy f***, I thought it had to be a work because of how well Jericho handled it. I hope Neville's alright, because that looks horrific.

Yeah and Jericho was a little loud telling the ref to stop the match because he was injured. It is what made me take notice, kudos to him for realizing and ending it though.

I will add on to this and say props to Jericho DQig himself as not to cost Neville any further possible injury, dude is not only a class act but knows how to save a match and make it still look good in the end. I really hope Neville is alright, but really good stuff by Jericho.

Lot of guys would have froze up there and not know what to do, especially if the match was being used to set up an angle afterwards. Jericho just read the situation and adapted properly. That's the benefit of experience.

Holy f***, I thought it had to be a work because of how well Jericho handled it. I hope Neville's alright, because that looks horrific. This is a PSA to wrestlers who don't think that the little shit matters
Rollins and Neville have both injured themselves on MUNDANE spots, a Sunset Flip and a Slide through, two Spots that are routine and relative in wrestling.
It's not always the big bumps that get you. In fact more often than not, it's the little shit you don't expect in wrestling. Perfect example of this is Barrett, don't know how many times he's gotten hurt taking basically routine bumps, or Rusev when he broke his ankle just falling the wrong way.
Shit luck just seems to be happening more in wrestling, especially these last few years.

Wrestling is amazing sometimes. That's the thing about wrestling. It's almost always the simple, routine shit that gets you.

I remember when Wade broke his arm and he broke character for a good few seconds asking ring crew what happened to him, and that was during one of his heel runs.

Yeah, there's a certain instance I remember nearly a decade ago where someone got injured and the opponent ended up pulling that person from the same area of the body that got hurt to the center of the ring to get a pinfall. It was really stupid, and I'm glad Jericho got the match stopped in a way that posed no additional danger to Neville.

Yeah, all the props to Jericho for how he handled that. I noticed something was wrong when Neville couldn't put any weight on his leg and just slumped to the mat, it sounded like Jericho asked him if he was ok then Jericho rolled him into a cover right away and I guess Neville told him what was going on then and he kicked out at 2. Then Chris took things into his own hands and went after the ref, yelling "HE'S HURT!" and pushed him, forcing the DQ.
It did look really awful in replay.

Also, that looks exactly like what I was criticising Eva Marie's Sliding STO for nearly accomplishing
Amazing how the most mundane thing ever can get you. I bet he's done that spot 500 times before
