Triple H tore his quad by planting wrong, and then tore it again by hitting a spinebuster. Lita dove to the outside, took a header, was folded in half, and amazingly walked away with no injury. A few weeks later she jumped from the apron and landed wrong, which shredded her knee. The human body man, you do one thing wrong and it lets you know. And the one I forgot to mention but it's obviously the Elephant in the room
Droz, back body drop. One of the most routine moves in wrestling. Paralyzed.
The routine shit matters... which is why every time Ryback wrestles I get worried. I don't hate the guy but man... I don't know if its his size or what but he's gonna seriously injure someone one of these days, and he's already done damage to Punk especially... thankfully Luke Harper didn't bust his shoulder like we thought he did... but he's an example of the little shit seemingly constantly overlooked...
Isn't that also pretty much why Kennedy got fired? Nobody getting hurt in spectacular fashion, but him injuring a bunch of upper-card guys by being reckless?

All the crazy shit Neville does and he may have just tore his leg up on a slide through
Wrestling is amazing sometimes. That's the thing about wrestling. It's almost always the simple, routine shit that gets you. Like Randy getting injured by punching the mat Or Sami Zayn hurting his shoulder just by doing his entrance

I believe Kenderson had a bunch of strikes against him before he was fired. but yes, I think one of them was a bunch of wrestlers including top guys like Cena said he was reckless as hell. The straw that broke the camel's back was dropping Randy Orton on his shoulder like immediately after Orton came back from shoulder surgery.

Early news I'm finding through Twitter and Reddit is that he's broken both his tibia and his ankle. That's a debut WrestleMania right out the window for him. Damn, I figured it was definitely his ankle, but his tibia as well? Forget Wrestlemania, is he even gonna be back by the end of the year?

Well, that was before WWE.com reported that it may be "just" a fractured ankle. But I presume that he's looking at many months on injured reserve just on the ankle alone.

Quick moment to say we rag on Jericho a lot, but in an industry built on "just walk it off", I really appreciate him not only trying to end the match, but sticking up for Neville (a rookie who would have been fed to the dogs 20 years ago) and laying into the ref for not paying attention.

Droz was injured via D'Lo's running powerbomb spot, where either D'Lo didn't have a solid grip on Droz during the lift or he slipped on something thrown in the ring by fans. There are so many BS myths about Droz and his injury It was nothing to do with anyone throwing s**t in the ring, DLo lost his grip with Droz's shirt and couldn't alter his path in time to protect him from injury. Nothing but an accident Thankfully Droz is no longer paraplegic and has movement in his upper body and arms.

This sucks. Dude was just three weeks shy of his first WrestleMania.

Jericho probably remembers Curt Hennig basically saving his career once.

I mean, a fractured ankle isn't a small injury, but when compared to the alternative, he may be alright to return by the summer. Then again, Ryback had a fractured ankle and he was on the shelf for close to two years, so we'll have to see what happens.

The only good thing that could possibly come out of this is that they reconsider the multi man IC Title match at Mania and just do Owens/Zayn 20 minutes bell to bell as it should be, now that one of the exceptional/up there as far as best in ring workers goes that had a place in the match is now out. But even that isn't worth it to lose such a great worker (on top of the others than have happened this wrestling year Mania to Mania) for however long or short of a time he is out This sucks. Dude was just three weeks shy of his first WrestleMania. A damn shame to, especially when you consider all the years and great matches he has put into the industry starting in 2004. Feel really sorry for the dude. And of course as others have said, hats off to Jericho during the entire thing. I will never not be a mark for the guy, hence the name that I have always had here. It's good to see.

Not sure if any of the surgeries were botched, but he had at least three of them on his ankle before he was back on the house show run in December 2011.
