This comes on the heels of the thread about NXT Takeover not being advertised as part of Wrestlemania week. There's a lot of speculation going on about why it happened. The fact is, we have no clue what happened. And as much as we like to think we're experts about whatever happens behind the scenes, we know very little. So let's take a moment to identify stuff that we know, without a shadow of a doubt, is true.
In other words,
No speculation.
No assumptions
No ambiguity
Nothing that came from anonymous sources
Nothing that came from a jaded worker with an ax to grind.
Stuff that came from named, reliable sources, directly from their mouths or writings
This thread is for anything, whether who's related to who, who's dating who, what's in someone's contract, why people were hired or fired, etc.
For example, it seemed ridiculous at first that Daniel Bryan was fired because of tie-gate. But it was eventually confirmed - and discussed in documentaries - that he was indeed fired for choking someone with a tie.
