I gave up on AAA when the focus became around the Psycho Circus & the geeks.
This is ridiculous.

Jeremy Borash was at the Crash show filming for Impact, the Super Crazy/Psicosis v Broken Hardyz match will be on Impact plus other stuff from the show.
It'll be the Broken Hardyz vs the Lucha Brothers soon at a Crash show (Penta/Fenix)

Triple A has a press conference planned for this Tuesday for the official contract signing for Psycho Clown vs Dr Wagner Jr and hype up Triplemania. Going to be extra fun now with Daga, Pentagon, and Garza Jr quitting the company. Speaking of Pentagon Jr, he changed his named once more to PENTA 0M since AAA & Lucha Underground owns the trademark for Ciero Miedo. He also altered his mask.

Penta, Daga, and Garza Jr will no longer use the Perros Del Mal name and trademarks.
AAA is planning to hold the Lucha World Cup outside of Mexico this year. Sponsor Victoria Cerveza wants it in Japan. AAA is looking at California. They also downplayed the defections as just part of the lucha biz. Also played coy about those guys' status with Lucha Underground.

Obviously, it's not going to happen, and would never even be thought of by any of the possible principle parties, but am I a bad person for wishing somehow Pentagon/Penta El Stupid Name-o would show up at the Rumble anyway?

Impossible with Season 3 on hiatus until Summer. Unless WWE wants a lawsuit (Ask TNA about the shitstorm that came from signing Hernandez), he is off limit until either his LU contract isn't not renewed or after the last part of Ultima Lucha airs.

Well, yeah. Still, if nothing else, I hope somehow he's in NXT by the end of the year. Dude would OWN Full Sail.

The new plan to tape LU Season 4 December 2017. The reason because of funding issues.

The name of the group the ex-AAA/Perros Del Mal luchadors chosen is La Rebelion. La Rebelion is also the name of old Perros Del Mal's tv show. They chose the name as tribute for Perro Jr. And may be adding more members in the near future. Didn't say if it would be current or ex AAA people. They also said AAA tried to get the show they worked on Friday shut down which is the way of lucha libre politics. AAA will be apparently keeping the PDM gimmick alive with Joe Lider and Kahn Del Mal.

That's been the mission statement made by AAA luchadors and employees on Twitter last weekend. It also helps their argument is support by AAA doing really strong house shows numbers post Rebelion departure. The shows may be getting dreadful with the best talent heading for the hills but they still are packing in fans. Now will they show for the bigger shows with a skeleton crew roster is the question. I did find it funny when AAA commentator Arturo Rivera said those who left will fade away soon without AAA support. The same people Pentagon and Fenix who are booked worldwide on a weekly basis are suddenly going to stop getting bookings. Daga was an in demand guy in the indy lucha scene before heading to AAA and Garza Jr is a big celebrity in the Monterrey area and tv star. Yeah right. AAA is going to miss those checks that they skimmed off the top before giving the guys who actually did the work got their money.

Who in AAA is left that's worth watching? Other than Drago, Aerostar and Fantasma, all that's left are the clowns, some exoticos and guys who are over the hill.

Texano Jr is good but he sticks to the basics while in AAA. Mamba is a better luchadora than she gets credit for. Doesn't help that she gets stuck wrestling ancient ass Pimpi. The female Apaches are fun to watch beating the shit out luchadoras like they are possessed by Finlay. Minis champ Dinastia is probably the most athletically skilled person AAA has but rarely gets to work. He was someone I thought would had been for LU when it was first announced. He would be like Aerostar and Drago. Someone that been under the radar for a while but needs a bigger platform to show whay he can really do. AAA is suppose to holding some tryouts soon for new luchadors. From what I gather is that is going to be a competition ala Tough Enough.

Apparently, AAA is trying to file trademarks against Rey Fenix and Pentagon's new name to keep them from using the names.
Are Lucha Politics really that petty?
