I just got around to listening to his Talk Is Jericho episode from around the time he joined TNA and it sounded like Corgan was committing to it as a full-time job. Kind of struck me as a lifelong wrestling fan/smark finally getting the chance to have "the book". He seemed to at least have an idea as to how he wanted to change things in the company (more character-driven stories).
Admittedly, I don't really watch or follow TNA at all, but I am curious how did/has his run in TNA go? I can see the ratings are still in the tank, but are there any notable stories/characters he's had his fingerprints on? Is he still with TNA?

The Decay with the Marilyn Manson "Nobodies" song has got to be down to Corgan.

The Doll House using Doll Parts, plus we have him to thank for Grado getting a second chance

He booked MVP to say the n Word on a promo...some people should've never been accepted in wrestling.

I think this just about sums it up: Yep ... that's the dreaded "I just signed with TNA" face.

Yeah, not even account for their themes, the Dollhouse and and Decay seem like they are from him. For some reason I think the Grado stuff is from him as well.

Kind of reminds me of Curt Schilling taking all his money (and the people of RI's money) and investing it in video games, which is ideally what I'd want to do if I had millions to spare. He...he crashed and burned. A bit ominous.

I just hope TNA follows my lead and makes him X-division champion like I did in TEW.

I don't watch TNA that much, but I watched the show with the ladder match between Grado and Eli Drake, and I feel Corgan and Grado have fantastic on screen chemistry.
I also felt that Corgan came across as a great authority figure. He wasn't this over the top heel or babyface, he was just a generic businessman type guy, and that's perfect for TNA and pro wrestling as a whole. He was well spoken, he got his points across, and he came across like a big deal without being goofy.

He not very good. It's like Vince Russo bad with less heel or face turns.

I want to see a contest between him and Borash to decide who's uglier and looks more like a potato.

Him joining was a bigger mainstream story than Hogan was, so there's that.

Him joining was a bigger mainstream story than Hogan was, so there's that. Where? Hogan went on late shows, howard stern, and Larry King? All I've heard from Corgan was a little article in sports illustrated.
