If Valentine had wrestled at Mania 23, he'd just be getting warmed up by now.

isn't this the mania Hogan went on the radio and played a phone call he had with the WWE about the main event and thus talked himself out of a deal, i thought he was supposed to be going again Khali, or Orton, i know there is a box set figures of him and Orton for 23.

Greg Valentine always looked as if he was Triple H's dad during the bloated era when he came off the roids.
Anywho.. this is the most bizarre rumour ive heard in my life.
Thats like booking The Rock vs Steve Blackman at Wrestlemania 33.

Since the late 80s Greg Valentine has looked like the alcoholic 60 year old woman you'd see everyday at the end of a bar pounding down vodka tonics at 11:30 am

I recall talk that year of Hogan vs. Khali, since it was the 20th anniversary of WM3 and Hogan/Andre. But whatever those plans were, they fell through and it was turned into Kane/Khali instead (which I think cut short the Kane/Booker T feud that seemed like it was heading into WrestleMania that year...)

Then this would be the first time that I agree with Hogan on a "he's not my level"-quote This would be kind of like bringing in the Rock to wrestle Al Snow. Let's be fair here. Valentine was a top level talent in the 70s and most of the 80s. Al Snow couldn't even be a top level talent on a show where he is the only one appearing.

I remember rumors of Cena vs Khali and Hogan vs Big Show. Because apparently, they wanted all the fans to fall asleep.

I remember this too. I think Hogan really wanted in on that Wrestlemania. Wasn't he rumored to face Khali also? Yeah this is what I remember.
