WWE officials had talks about putting Cesaro in the 20-man Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal at WrestleMania 32 on Sunday.
We've noted how Cesaro is scheduled to return to the ring in April and apparently they talked about having him as a surprise entrant in the match on Sunday.
As noted, 4 spots remain in the match as the following Superstars are confirmed: Heath Slater, Curtis Axel, Adam Rose, Bo Dallas, Big Show, Kane, Tyler Breeze, Mark Henry, Jack Swagger, Fandango, Damien Sandow, Darren Young, Konnor, Viktor, Goldust and R-Truth.

As much as I'd love to see him in it... I wouldn't put him in it unless you plan on having him win. It's been well-established that a lot of people don't like those kind of teases (not in the "boo the heel that eliminates him" way, the "f*** WWE" way), so in that case, save him for the next night on RAW.
Either way, he'd probably get a MASSIVE pop.

I don't see the point unless he wins.
I'd like for a couple NXT guys to be one of the 4 entrants.

Yeah, they said he was not cleared, but if he gets cleared, they'll use him as a surprise in the Andre Battle Royal. If he does get included, he will be the only person who walked out of last year's WrestleMania as a champion who wrestled on this year's WrestleMania.

Put me in the "he shouldn't be in it unless he wins" group. And even then I t's too soon to try to push someone as "the first two time winner of the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal". That shouldn't happen for at least another 3-5 years.

Yeah, I say if he can make it, have him win it. If he's not going to - and there's really no reason not to, no one in the match has any forward momentum right now - then wait for the next night.

Would be cool to see him in it, since he's been in every one, but winning wouldn't really help him any more since he already won before.

He should only be in it if he comes out dressed as Doink

Don't bother unless he's winning.

It's not like it matters who wins the match anyway, so just give Cesaro a great showing to prime him for better things.

Imagine what a win of this prestigious match could do for him...

Put me in the "he shouldn't be in it unless he wins" group. And even then I t's too soon to try to push someone as "the first two time winner of the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal". That shouldn't happen for at least another 3-5 years. Won the first and third, was only eliminated by the winner of the second. They could establish Cesaro as some kind of battle royal specialist, use that to springboard him into some momentum from the get-go. Maybe have him win another random battle royal or two later in the year and build him up as a legitimate threat at the Rumble.
