That match was unreal and such a great tone setter. Love both of these teams so much

Being there live, American Alpha was the second most over act on the show behind Sami and Nakamura. I, alongside everyone else, lost it for them especially when the ref hit 3.

Jordan tearing up after winning was probably the most emotional moment since Bayley winning the Women's Title. In fact, I think it was even more so since this is a guy who would have been cut had he not ended up with Gable.

I know i reference when I met these guys alot, but I just wanna say that from my experience, that interview is 100% genuine. Two absolute genuine nice guys who are practically best buds, Gable does have a mother hen type thing going on with Jordan, he's always so proud to be around him and getting him involved in everything when naturally people gravitate towards Gable. Couldn't be happier for them. Zayn/Nakamura was awesome but American Alpha finally getting their moment is what made the show for me.

There was an awful lot of dust in my house when AA won. Here. Have some more. Goddamn you! (seriously, thanks. I don't go to WWE.com and wouldn't have seen this). Like others have said, there was a risk that JJ would've been released. The relief and the excitement he must be feeling is evident. We all travel our own road. For many there is adversity and struggle. Seeing someone reach the top after facing such adversity - and seeing JJs personal growth that we've seen on Breaking Ground and NXT TV. Man, I couldn't be happier for that guy.

That may be my favourite tag match EVER.
I loved how the Revival kept trying to initiate the "heels beat on Morton" bit all match and Gable kept dodging every set up spot for it.

Definitely match of the night IMO. So many great spots.

AA are very close to reaching "favorite tag team ever" territory already

I love American Alpha but man, The Revival are an awesome heel tag team. That bit where Wilder crawled under the ring to pull Jordan's legs to stop the hot tag was great.

Damn awesome match. Both teams should definitely be moved to the main roster sooner rather than later, both killing it and their presence would do a ton to improve the main roster tag division.

Aww it gives me a warm feeling to see Jordan so happy, Breaking Ground did a tremendous job in getting me to like him even more.
Yep it was a great match, this could be the first year where most of my MotY list is made up of regular tag matches (ie, not TLCs or Shield six-man tags).

Yeah based on every interview I've seen with people who have gone though Developmental, they all have nothing but great things to say about Jason Jordan and how hard he works. When Chris Hero got released he said that there wasn't a single person down there that did more than Jordan to become good, and he said how much he wished he would get a break.
But also hats off to the Revival as well. Nothing flashy about them at all, but they get it as a tag team. Actually think they're ready for a call up as I think WWE has missed a heel team like that for a LONG time, and I think that they're a great foil for teams like New Day, the Usos, and Lucha Dragons.

Not gonna lie I teared up seeing how emotional American Alpha were after the match. I then teared up again when I watched this video.

Loved the pacing of the match. It felt like the NBA used to when teams were fast breaking all the time and scoring 130 points every night. Yet it didn't feel like a spotfest. There was great logic to it.

Their friendship has honestly become one of my favorite things about the show. I really hope they do great things in their careers. It's nice to see Jordan have a hook now after watching him float in obscurity for so long. (Same with Scott Dawson to be honest. I'm really glad that both of these guys went from random NXT job mainstays to two highlights of the tag division.)

I saw him wrestle Bull Dempsey as a heel last year at a house show, and he was just missing something. That cold, cocky heel thing isn't him. Coming in like a house of fire on a tag is.

I grew up watching 80's tag team wrestling....and I love what The Revival are doing.
I love the stuff the good "modern" tag teams that have shined (E&C, TWGTT, Dudleys, Hardy's, Young Bucks, etc) have brought to the style...and American Alpha do that style so well, I love them for it too.
Basically those two teams...that match...was a combination of almost everything I've ever loved about wrestling.
It would have absolutely been match of the night if not for, well, you know. I hope it doesn't get lost to history because of that.

This match was a true testament to NXT as a developmental process. Not a single guy there who was made before NXT and they brought the house down.
