I know my head might explode if I give NXT's production crew anymore praise, but dammit, hear me out.
The way they showcased Roode and Ibushi tonight, as well as others in the past like Asuka, was done so well. It makes NXT seem like such a huge deal when you have wrestlers from all over the world showing up to observe, knowing that they'll probably be in there soon. When are they gonna show my dad in the crowd? He's been training hard, god dammit.

It's pretty cool in that sense but it does kinda annoy me when you've got like Hall and Pac stood infront of the same people that Ibushi and later Roode are stood in front of. Hall and Pac were shown right before Sami Zayn's entrance... those seats are empty by the time Nakamura is making his entrance. Hell, even JR had disappeared.
I get that you can't have the front row full of big names, and it would spoil the surprise if Bobby Roode had been sat there all night but i'd rather they just showed them in a sky box or something. Something less.. obvious.

What I really like about it is that they're showcasing them as they really are.
It's not convoluted or comes off phony, it's just, "holy crap it's Bobby Roode" and the crowd reacts giving them some credibility right away. I find it shows confidence in the performers and a bit of respect too.

I thought this thread was going to be about them somehow finding some of the few people in the crowd who weren't cheering or doing anything for some of their cutaways. Annoying -- like probably 95 percent of the joint is going crazy and they find two guys near the front row who look like they're waiting for a light to change to cross the street.

JR: "BY GAWD, KING! IT'S MADLIBS'S DAD, MR. MADLIBS HIMSELF! BUSINESS IS ABOUT TO PICK UP!"
Tom: "Uh, JR what are you doing here? This is NXT."
JR: "STONE COLD! WHY TRIPLE H, WHY? THAT MAN HAS A FAMILY! HELP ME GOD PLEASE I CAN'T STOP!"
