I'm fine with it really. It made both women look strong. The classic "didn't quit, just passed out" finish meant Bayley looked good in losing and if she doesn't get called up to the main roster in the next few weeks, it perfectly sets up a rematch.

Loved the ending. The coronation of the Empress is here! Both women looked strong. Asuka can be a monster face which will put over the woman who beats her in a major way.

Overall it is just incredible how the NXT crew just gets booking.

I'm fine with the booking. It's crazy how NXT can get me so emotionally invested in something yet I have no reason to care about anything at WrestleMania.

I was telling my wife tonight that I was probably more excited for the Bayley Asuka match than anything the entire weekend. My wife said that it's pretty amazing considering that a couple of years ago I'd FF or change the channel when the "divas" came on. That's true. I want to see badass chick's that wreck shit, kick ass and take the business seriously. I don't want to see a diva who wants to parlay WWE into a modeling or acting career.

I enjoy the old-school, white meat baby face Bayley character. I'm not going to lie, Asuka has had me from the start just with that sick, evil smile. She gets it. She hasn't had a true promo and she's awesome in her role, conveying her emotions through her eyes and facials. She's a special talent.

We're in a special time, FAN friends. We're lucky. This is a second golden age. There hasn't EVER been this much talent in WWE.

It was all very good, but to be honest, I kind of wanted to see Asuka go heel and literally destroy Bayley. Bayley got a ton of offense in early on and was nearly dominating the match. Takeover was great, but it needed a cool story swerve, and Bayley is just too perfect to turn heel on.

Bayley's reign had plenty left in the tank. It's just that every other woman is kind of a cartoon compared to Asuka. Is it possible to book someone to beat Asuka and have it look anything but ridiculous?

Yeah, I felt this too. Asuka straight up beating her until she passed out would have been a better story; setting up for a better feud and a better rematch.

The action was very good but I felt it deflated Asuka's win that Bayley was on the offense more than not.

I like Asuka, but why not have Bayley get a 'lucky' win and then have Asuka win the rematch? It just feels like they didn't do much with Bayley as champion. She beat Sasha twice in two of the best womens matches ever, and then didn't really win a 'big' match after that. She beat the likes of Eva, Alexa and Nia and then lost to her first real challenge, Asuka. They could have done so much more with her reign

Asuka-Bayley made me feel like a kid again when I was pulling for Bayley at the end to reach the bottom rope. I love Asuka and it's great she's the women's champion, but Bayley is that good of a babyface.

Once I saw Bayley getting a lot of offense, one it felt weird due to Asuka's recent booking and two I had more of a feeling Bayley would lose. Maybe they booked the match this way to make Bayley look stronger and they are ready to call her up. However, I will say it was a really good match, just didn't seem right.

I expected Asuka to win, and I thought they did a good job making Bayley look tough for not tapping and giving Asuka everything she could.

But damn, that interview she did where she talked about letting down the little kids and her family was tough.

You've articulated what I'm feeling quite well. Good match; hyped for the rematch and actual feud but it didn't track as well as it could have.

Asuka is kind of like the Lesnar of NXT in that, when she's wrestling, I'm always thinking does this match how unstoppable she's been in the past? And they've been a bit more consistent with her than Lesnar. Or at least they were as of last week.

I was hoping for a post match beatdown by Asuka after winning. Like she walks over, maybe helps Bayley up etc offers a handshake, then gives her a beating.

Not because she's turning heel, just because she's Asuka. Oh and have her hug an unconscious Bayley after the beatdown.
