That video of his promo after they won the titles, they ought to use that as an ad-campaign to show what kind of real emotion pro wrestling can bring, despite being "fake".

What's great about Gable's success is that he (along with Gable) is a homegrown WWE talent. I love NXT and the numerous indy megastars coming into the fold but the one thing that OVW from 15 years back had on NXT today was their ability to create homemade talent. I welcome all the awesome indy/Japanese stars but give me more Jordans/Gables/Breezes as well.

Add in Corbin's development WWE could a new Big 3

Indy names may get an initial pop but ask Crowe and Aries last night if their reputation mattered. People like character and charisma. American Alpha have a lot of that.

Not to go off on the usual tangent many of us have about WWE's booking, and Roman Reigns in particular, but THIS is a babyface promo. These guys are the type of guys who 100% of the crowd could easily get behind. They're sympathetic, vulnerable, and far from unstoppable, but deep down you know they can eventually get the job done and win.

Honestly, Jason Jordan has it all. His athletic and wrestling ability has never been in doubt, but prior to this tag team, he didn't show much personality, didn't seem completely comfortable as a performer. I said this a few weeks ago, but what we're seeing is a guy just putting it all together, having everything click and realising just how good he can be.
When you add on his size, good looks, his squeaky clean persona, you've got something really special on your hands. The dude is a potential WWE Champion in the making.

He really didn't work as the cocky amateur wrestler heel. Then you see this and his incredible explosiveness and fire, and realize he's meant to be a face.

Him fighting Tye Dillinger was one of the first things I saw when I started watching NXT, and even then he clearly had all the tools. I was surprised how much he was slated online, I'm happy he's had the chance to put it all together and become such a highlight of the show.
If anything, people saying that they're the new Team Angle are doing them a disservice, they're like 2 Kurt Angles, one's more on the goofy side, one's more on the suplex bitches around side.

He's come such a long way from being 'that dude with razor burn on his legs on the FCW site circa 2011/2012.'

He's the f***ing man, but if I had one complaint, it'd be that he gets me far too hyped.
Like, one of these days when he gets that hot tag, I'm gonna get arrested wheelkicking an old lady and shaking a towel at everyone passing by.

I know Gable gets all the love but I prefer Jordan and think he's awesome. He is the man. Also anyone who says titles are nothing more than props just look at his reaction after winning the tag team Championships.

One year ago he got "THANK YOU JOBBER!" chants at the San Jose NXT show when he beat Monster Bull Dempsey.
Look at him now. It's awesome to see when someone clicks and finds their groove.

I'm a big fan of Jordan. Tall, good-looking, great wrestler. Both guys are two of my favorite things about NXT. I'm glad that he's getting some more praise because both are standout talents.

So great to see someone develop in developmental; JJ was such a nobody for so long, but now he's progressed and improved and deserves this.

He's been around since the FCW 2011 days. His peers have all moved up. Ambrose, Rollins, Reigns, Wyatt, Bo even, they're all on the main roster while he had to find himself and he's finally done it. He and Gable are future stars. I mean the fact is he's only 27, he's got a great look, great height, athletic, quick, wrestling machine, he's found his character and finally he's found a partner he can move up with. The sky's the limit for these dudes.
I mean he went from this
to this
to this
He's been in the trenches.

Jason Jordan is the kind of success story that makes me happy that developmental is something accessible now, because watching his growth has been a real blast, and it adds a lot of punch to seeing him finally win gold and be cheered by an arena full of people.

I don't usually like the smiley "happy to be here" thing but love how Jordan seems so genuinely happy to be cheered.
