Holy shit. While I wasn't a super fan of the way she comported herself over the past few years, I'd always hoped she'd find some way to pull it together and...well, not make a comeback, but find some way to live a happy, normal life. Genuinely depressing, this.

I'm sure she fought long and hard against mental illnesses. Against addictions. Against numerous other factors. If that is what killed her there is no shame in it. Just in there is no shame in dying of cancer. Diseases kill. Sometimes even with all the fighting and treatment, sometimes, the disease wins.

RIP. Such a shame. I wonder if WWE will acknowledge this. They'd be pretty giant assholes if they didn't... so maybe.

Sad news, but of course not at all surprising. This was a long long descent and it's unfortunate she was never able to get her life back together. I was never a big fan of hers but she was certainly a high profile female during a major boom period.
Never got over HHH. That was the beginning of the end with her.

That's a damn shame. I was hoping she'd be able to eventually patch things up with the WWE.

I could see WWE mentioning this, seeing as they don't have to deal with her directly and won't face any further publicity issues. She had a really tragic life after leaving WWE, I was hoping she found peace when she was teaching in Japan. RIP. Yea, I don't think there's any question they'll do one of those RIP screens at the start of the next show.

Despite what happened after she left the wrestling world, she was a huge part of the Attitude Era and a very instrumental part of women being taken seriously in the WWE. Very sad to see. RIP.

I hope she can find the peace in death which seemed to elude her in life.

Well this is not something I expected to wake up to this morning.
I knew she was battling personal demons but still, very surprised to wake up to this.
I'm not going to lie and say I was a huge fan but it is still very sad to hear.
I do hope WWE doesn't ignore this, whatever issues they had with her, she still made an impact with the company.

RIP. Such a shame. I wonder if WWE will acknowledge this. They'd be pretty giant assholes if they didn't... so maybe. I understand not wanting to be associated with certain decisions she made post-WWE, especially with their whole squeaky corporate image, but this was a person who made you money and was a pretty popular act for a few years. That, and it's just plain human decency, so here's hoping they do.

I never enjoy when a wrestler dies. I grew up watching these heroes and idolizing them all, from Steve Austin to Crash Holly and all those in between. The ones who die too early and the ones who endure to this day even after years of putting damage on their bodies. The night Chyna turned on HHH to join the corporation, I remember being really upset. I saw a documentary about a decade ago that showed her not doing so well and hoped things would improve. I can't say with confidence that it was the business that claimed her, but instead, the demons she encountered in her time on top. My thoughts are with those she is close to, I imagine they're going through a lot right now.

What? That came out of nowhere. Between the IC title run and the Rumble appearance, she broke a lot of new ground for women in WWE. Eventually, I feel like she could have gotten on WWE's good side again and eventually she would have made it into the hall of fame.

Well, that's... Abrupt. Sucks to hear, though not especially surprising. Still, always hoped one day things would somehow shake up to having the whole of DX together again one more time.

We talk about how much she meant to Hunter and DX but I think it is entirely possible that without her Eddy Guerrero never makes it in WWE. Eddy betraying her was really the first thing he did in WWE that I can remember him doing, him being more than just one of the Radicalz. She helped him bring out Latino Heat and at least for me, showed a side that I didn't thing he had.
Life can be painful. Mental illness sucks. Addiction is bitch. Don't know if she would ever make a return to WWE, that was a rope bridge was nuked long ago, but I do wish we had gotten a chance to find out for sure.

Still nothing from WWE.com nor has anyone affiliated with WWE tweeted out a condolence message let. RVD and JR have both mentioned it. News is still "hot" so to speak. Less than an hour. It takes a while for corporate to disseminate it. By morning they'll say something.

Still nothing from WWE.com nor has anyone affiliated with WWE tweeted out a condolence message let. News is still fresh (WWE may want to confirm it themselves as well) and most of them are still in the UK and don't have the 24/7 access to things they'd have in the US.
