probably egos on both sides Certainly, that, and Chyna felt for a long while that working with the women was beneath her in general. Ivory talked about it in her shoot that Chyna was very patronizing early on, and only really eased up when they had worked together a few times and it was clear Ivory knew what she was doing. Chyna didn't really consider herself part of the division for most of her run there, I guess. To be fair, she kinda wasn't part of the division. Until the tail end of her run, which she was widely reported as being unhappy with. In fairness, short of merging the divisions entirely, having someone who can hang with the men but then goes back and demolishes the women kinda sets a weird precedent. I don't think I'd have ever sent Chyna back to the women's division myself either.

Chyna should never have been sent to the Women's division as a face. Everyone else just looked like a goober losing to her, or having to resort to literally crippling her to win like Ivory did.

I don't know when this went up - but WWE Network added a Chyna collection. Great stuff. Raw 324 - I'm trying to imagine a woman fighting The Undertaker in this day and age. Oh and she became #1 contender to Steve Austin's WWF Title on this show. I've long forgotten about some of this stuff. Chyna's career is truly remarkable.

Incredibly sad, but somehow depressingly inevitable. What is going to bother me about this is that the WWE will likely go back to ignoring her, given that they have an unwritten policy about not acknowledging people that died as a result of an overdose on medication. I could be speaking hyperbole, but you never know. It's unfortunate.

I could be speaking hyperbole, but you never know. It's unfortunate. There are tons and tons of "important" former wrestlers who don't get mentioned, or are seldom mentioned. There aren't just a whole heck of a lot of contexts where it would be merited, unless a woman wrestles for the IC title or something. "Wow, this Samoa Joe they brought up from NXT sure it strong, King.' "You're not kidding, JBL. But Chyna was strong, too." "I love it, Maggle." Somehow that doesn't work.

"Google Chyna" right? Today I finally decided to check out her Wikipedia page. Holy crap is that an interesting read! Just the "early life" section alone is full of incredible stories. I would quote highlights of it here, but I suggest you read for yourself. I also learned today that her breast implants became a model known as the "Chyna 2000s." What a life she lived. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chyna
