Rumours were circulating about the Eagles trading Darren Sproles, but Doug Pederson said that he wants him on the team and has no plans to trade him.
They really would be fools to let him go.

Brady's appealing his suspension again, & I imagine he's never gonna give up on this. I've seen people mention that this has larger implications w/r/t the union & commissioner power, so I can respect his fight on this.

I said it last year, and I will say it again about deflated ball saga, I wonder what would happen if the case was to be decided during the bye week before the Super Bowl and the Pats make it to the SB. My guess it the NFL would drop the case faster kid drops a bowl of liver and onions.

They gave the Commissioner's office all that power in exchange for millions more in the last CBA. Brady and the PA can call it a sham, which deflategate is, but they agreed to this process and Goodell's power so their case is weak at best because this is about the process and not the crime.

And yet, something tells me that this is one of the nicest skeletons in the NFL's closet. About Brady appealing, the NFL could have completely destroyed him if they released the season's PSI logs and it supported the NFL. But of course they won't release it, which screams that the NFL was wrong in all of that.

The NFL has increased the number of reviewable plays for the 2016 season.
Per the league, penalty enforcement, proper down, spot of a foul and status of the game clock are all now reviewable.
