Jets fans attending the team's annual Town Hall event last Wednesday night reportedly booed when coach Todd Bowles mentioned Geno Smith's name regarding Gang Green's quarterback situation. The fans also chanted "We Want Fitz" at the event Time for the Jets to give the fans what they want. Get Fitz back, and get rid of Geno. Jets cap situation isn't great right now either, they'd probably need to make some moves just to free up the space to give him nearly what he's asking for. Quoting both of you cause Toilet paper's post is the reason why the Jets should move on from Fitz. The organization cant afford him and he is too blinded by the market paying Brock Osweiler 18mil a year! Let Geno play I say, it's not like us Jets fans arent used to losing seasons. So f*** it if he sucks then a better draft picks for the Jets to make the team better or he performs well enough and we get the same result as last year or better. Use the money to lock Mo up already, he anchors the whole D-line and has earned it.

I'm just glad that even though the entire world seems to change, the Jets still find a way to be The Jets.

Aqib Talib was shot at a Dallas club last night. Thankfully he just needed stitches to close the wound. He'll miss the White House trip though.

I'm just glad that even though the entire world seems to change, the Jets still find a way to be The Jets. For a team that didn't accomplish much since Super Bowl III, they sure act like big-time braggarts. And then things blow up in their face.

Aqib Talib (leg) told Dallas Police he was "too intoxicated" to remember what happened when he was shot on Sunday morning.
The Broncos are looking into whether Talib may have accidentally shot himself.
Panthers signed C Ryan Kalil to a two-year, $16.75 million extension through 2018.

I know he's coming off the back of a very good season, and he's not exactly the worst Quarterback around, but I cant help but be slightly amused at a set of fans rabidly clamouring for Ryan Fitzpatrick to be the figure head of their team.

You and me both. Like you said, he has been a serviceable QB the pass few seasons, but when the chips are down he will find a way to F up, hence my nickname for him, F up Fitzpatrick. If I was him, I would have taken the 12 mil and ran. Sure Houston made a bet huge with Osweiler based on 7 games, but then again after 10 years we know more about Fitz and in my opinion 12 mil is more than fair.

Denver offered Von Miller a six year, $114.5 million dollar deal, which Von Miller turned down. Both sides are now not talking.
Well, that's just freaking BS on Von Miller's part.

It's not greedy to want more than players that you feel or know that you are better than. I don't blame Fitz or Von at all. I do blame the Texans and Giants for giving stupidly high contracts to players who pretty much haven't earned them, thus inflating the market value of literally every player "above" them.

So the money is fine, it is the details, same as the DT talks last year.

Now a report is out that Von Miller is threatening to sit out the entire season over his frustration with these contract negotiations.

When you are the reigning Super Bowl MVP,I think you should get somewhat of a pass when you ask for more money. If the Broncos don't want to pay, let him walk. Von Miller on the open market would be a hilarious orgy of money.
