Cena wins. He literally shows up and decks both Cap and Iron Man before ending the movie wearing the Iron Man armor and wielding Cap's shield.

I read spoilers. Im one of the few humans left that doesnt care, i think. The plots on Wikipedia if anyones curious.
It sounds insanely good. Surprising ending. Im also really looking forward to RDJs acting due to a few plot points.
The post-credits scene with Spidey sounds like a lot of fun.

Just got back from seeing it, absolutely incredible movie. Civil War is quite possibly one of the best superhero movies I've ever seen.
For a long time I always considered The Dark Knight as he cream of the crop when it came to superhero movies. Even the Avengers, as amazing as it was, I had to put it in a different section entirely from the Dark Knight so it wasn't sullied. Civil War though? It might take me a couple more viewings to really make a decision on it but The Dark Knight might just have some competition to deal with. This movie is that good.
Robert Downey Jr. gave his best performance of Iron Man yet. So many incredible scenes with Tony Stark such as with the mother at the beginning, and at the very end when he discovers Winter Soldier killed his parents and Cap knew about it. Just amazing. Chris Evans was great as always. Even though I would've liked one of the heroes to die just to add some weight to the MCU, deep down I'm glad they didn't because I love these characters and their performances so much.
Tom Holland is the best Spider-Man yet. He blows Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield out of the water. The banter, the suit, the web swinging, even when it was just Peter Parker, everything was on point. I was already looking forward to Spider-Man: Homecoming but this has just sealed the deal, and I'm so glad RDJ is making an appearance because his interactions with Spidey were so fun to watch.
The airport sequence is one of the best action scenes I've ever seen in any movie ever. So much stuff going on and yet you can see everything that was happening at the same time. Seeing Spider-Man take on Ant-Man was something I never thought I'd see in a movie. I'm actually kind of disappointed that the Giant Man reveal was leaked beforehand because that would have been ****ing amazing to see without prior knowledge. So many times I laughed at this movie, and Paul Rudd was one of the reasons why and made me remember why I enjoyed the first Ant-Man movie so much. Can't wait for Ant-Man and the Wasp, that movie's going to get a boost from Scott Lang's appearance.
Black Panther was badass as hell. No ****s given, just straight up anger and vengeance from T'Challa in this movie. Given the mid-credits scene though, does that mean Cap and the rest of the wanted Avengers will be making an appearance in the Black Panther film? Feige did say Black Panther's movie would lead into Infinity War Part I.
The final fight was so heartbreaking to witness, to the point where you think to yourself "Just stop fighting!". And at the same time, you can both see Cap and Tony's points of view. You sympathise with Cap because Bucky's his friend and knows that what Bucky was doing was none of his own decision making. However you can understand why Tony would be so angry and determined to kill Bucky at the same time. I genuinely thought Cap was going to kill Tony after the final shield through the arc reactor, but I'm genuinely pleased that no one died.
Absolutely incredible movie, and one I can't wait to see again and again. Civil War is the best Marvel movie yet. If the Russos somehow, against all the odds, make Infinity War better than Civil War then I'll be stunned.

Um, I just got back.
Guys, this movie ...
Whoa.
Spider-Man is just ... wow. Knocked it out of the bloody park.
More coherent thoughts when its not 4am in the morning and I'm more alert but yeah, this tops Winter Soldier and is my favourite MCU film yet.

I saw the movie tonight and I really enjoyed it. Better than Age Of Ultron and probably one of the best Marvel movies. The performances in the movie were great, especially Robert Downey Jr. Stark became broken throughout the film, especially when he found out about his parents' death and completely lost it. Tom Holland is also the perfect Spider-Man, though I did like Andrew Garfield as Spidey, he wasn't the best Peter Parker. Holland actually looks and acts like a regular teenager. Black Panther was great too, his movie should be interesting. I haven't seen Ant-Man yet but after the awesome airport fight scene, I'll have to! That whole scene was amazing. Hilarious and intense. Next we wait for Doctor Strange. Interested in what Marvel has to offer in the magical side of the Universe.

Yeah, I'll just echo what others have said - great film. My thoughts: - RDJ steals the show for me. I ended up feeling more for him than in any other MCU film he's been in, and real character development. - Spidey was annoying as hell, thus making him the best Spidey I've ever seen on screen (I assure you, that's meant as a compliment) - I liked some of the little nods to Avengers Disassembled (I feared the worst when Hawkeye / SW / Vision had their little face-off...) - Seeing Giant-Man was great, I honestly never thought we'd see it on-screen. - It brilliantly tied in aspects from the beginnings of the MCU (Continuity!) - I loved Vision's line about Iron Man's creation being the strength which has invited conflict. - And as always, Wanda's the catalyst behind it all - Nice addition of Redwing! - I do wish more had been made of Zemo but it's understandable... there was so much to the film to fit in. And I initially thought that the super-soldiers reveal would lead to them being a version of Zemo's Thunderbolts. - The end credit sequences didn't really add much, in my opinion. Going forward: - Vision's gonna be featuring in some of the more cosmic films, especially with him alluding to understanding his gem more. - Seems like we're getting aspects of the Secret Avengers off-screen, following the end of the movie. - Looks like Rhodesy's going to be getting his, er, "upgrades"...

Just got back from seeing it. I thought it was incredible, definitely the best Marvel film yet IMO.
Great performances from RDJ, Evans and Stan, that last fight scene was pretty damn emotional, very tragic to see Cap and Tony's friendship being destroyed.
The action was top notch throughout, really edge-of-your-seat stuff. The airport free for all is one of the best fight scenes I have ever seen.
The plot was strong, and MUCH superior to the hot garbage we got in the comic book Civil War. It built off the previous films and you really saw both sides of the argument.
The show was firmly stolen by Spidey. Tom Holland is a great piece of casting, it's tremendous to finally see a genuine kid in the role. The scene with Peter and Tony was brilliant and funny, the Spidey action scene was superb, and I liked his dialogue too ("Has anyone seen that really old movie 'The Empire Strikes Back'?!) Can't wait for next year to see Homecoming.
Overall, a really enjoyable watch. Highly recommended to anyone who likes superhero movies.

Saw this movie tonight. I'm usually the first to think negatively of most Marvel movies, but this?
DC need to hang their heads in shame. This is how you do it RIGHT.
A villian with a simple vengeful motivation, and even in defeat, he wins.
Zemo is the most effective Marvel villain in all of the phases put together.
Holland is simply sensational as Spider-Man
I wish this had been an Iron Man movie, because the hero, the wronged one, is Tony at the end of the day and I did'nt take to Cap's side at all. This is the exact REVERSE of how I was supposed to react to the comic book version, which ALSO wanted Tony to be in the right and failed miserably at it.

Russo bros. (Community) directed this, not surprised you're amazed Explains why Dean Pelton was in it! And now working at MiT! Great film though. Went into it expecting good things, and it delivered. Ecstatic with how well Spidey, Ant-man & Black Panther were used, I figured they'd all get pushed to the back whilst the main Avengers duked it out. Particularly enjoyed the introductions for the first two! Oh, and the whole "Cap 'n Bucky vs GSG9" sequence in the apartments was damn good.
