Since Buzzkill was mentioned twice I had to look up who he was ripping off as I had no idea what so ever that it was Road Dogg. Have you never heard Buzzkill's music? It's a Jimmy Hart version of the New Age outlaws theme. Also and I'm sure it's purely coincidental it was played by one of Road Dogg's brothers.

I only ever seen him wandering around the crowd holding signs up, I dont really recall any matches with him in. Edit: Had to check it out... www.youtube.com/watch?v=M8ppb5-hwmwI never even noticed he had the dreads, I am sure he had a cap on or just a bandana the times I saw him. I thought it was just some hippy stoner gimmick and that was that, never heard his theme so thats quite interesting

This one? While they probably are terrible, I have to give them some points for probably doing a few mannerisms based on the gimmick (and being open about being ripoffs tributes). But minus points for ripoff Taker's name being a Harley Davidson ripoff. Also, while I haven't found anything, I really hope there's a Wyatt Family ripoff gimmick on the indies. And just like that, I am in love.

BTW, my vote goes to "Even Colder" Mike Austin, the guy who showed up at a WalMart and scammed people into thinking he was Steve Austin, and sold knockoff figures of himself, which were just old SCSA figures with some white paint on the beard.

Thought that was Rob McElhenney for a second and was wondering why he'd leave the Birds of War.

That ice queen in The Huntsman is totally supposed to be Elsa. ... Oh, you meant in wrestling. The Powers of Pain, then.

Since a lot of choices I'd have made were already said, I'll go with Sangriento. A few weeks after Sin Cara debuts in WWE, TNA touts their own signing of an international Mexican wrestling sensation, Amazing Red in a mask who wrestled in all of 2 matches.

Crap, where do we start?
All of those UK "tribute" shows in the late 90s
Luminous Warrior (later just Luminous after thread of legal action), the aforementioned One Warrior Nation and a guy in Memphis that was called...Warrior
The Smoke doing a bad Rock impression in WEW (there was also an Austin imitator, I forget his name)
Big Slam Vader
The fake NWO Sting (not NWO Sting/Bogus Sting, but a guy going around the Texas indies in the late 90s claiming to be the Bogus Sting; not even trying to pass himself as the real Sting)
Giant Kamala 2 (Ben Peacock, aka Botswana Beast/Uganda)
For me though, the winners of this would be any of the territory guys that were running around in masks calling themselves the Assassin, Grappler, Mr. Wrestling, Spoiler or Masked Superstar without being connected to or getting the permission of the guys that created those roles. Dressing up like Austin or Rock and doing their mannerisms is bad and lazy, but not as bad and lazy as just putting on a mask and going "yeah, I'm that guy"
Props to the Jack Pfefer post on page 1. For those that aren't getting the context of it, Pfefer was a major con man who advertised shitloads of soundalikes on his cards. Generally, the workers were nothing like the guys they were cashing in on (obviously, you can see Lou Kesz looks nothing like Lou Thesz), but Pfefer counted on people not paying attention to names a lot. Bummy Rogers, Hobo Brazil and Bruno Sanmartino are my favorites.

There's a dude who appeared a couple times for the local indie company here that Nick Dinsmore runs, going by the name "Cold Stone" Tim Boston. Though he might be more of a parody than a ripoff. Maybe I'm just trying to give Midwest All-Pro some coverage.

I figure we're just doing people ripping off other wrestlers, otherwise the list would be endless.
