On the heals of the latest - and by some accounts, the greatest - film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, it's time for another poll. Let's all vote for the best character in the MCU.

I think it's Steve Rogers by a country mile. He's had a great character journey, and he absolutely embodies what it means to be a hero. Cap has always been a strong character in comics, but Chris Evans and the creative team at Marvel Studios have made him an absolutely phenomenal character.

It's Cap. Such a difficult character to make compelling - he's the all-American boy scout, incorruptible, always doing what is right. That kind of character is usually so one-dimensional it's death on the screen, but between Marvel being smart enough to put Cap in situations where there is no single "right" way of doing things, and Evans' performances, he's been pure gold for them.
Honourable mentions to Coulson, Daredevil, Punisher, and Loki.

I'd pay all my money for a Star Lord, Spider-Man & Ant Man buddy movie.

For me, it's been Cap since "The First Avenger."

1. Cap/Star-Lord (tie, and the latter shouldn't be surprising, given my user name) 2. Black Panther/Falcon (tie) 3. Iron Man 4. Spidey 5. Coulson/Daisy (both tie)
HMs: Fitz, Ant-Man, Mack, Jarvis (the one from Agent Carter), Peggy

I voted for Loki. Quite frankly, I agree with where he's coming from.

Yeah the Cap in the movies is basically well written Steve from the books. They get WHY Cap is the soul of the Marvel Universe.

My username and avatar say it all. I already liked Cap as a kid but Evans and the MCU writers have made him such an endearing character. I'm checking out Civil War later today and I don't see it changing my opinion.
Runners up: Scarlet Witch, Falcon, Rocket (so cute), Iron Man, Hulk and Ant Man. I'm also aware that events in Civil War might alter this list.

1. Cap 2. Leo Fitz 3. Phil Coulson 4. Grant Ward 5. Ant-Man
Also, I think Mack's full name is Alfonso Mackenzie.
