Do you think Dalton Castle will eventually come to WWE, and how do you think he would fare? Easily the most charismatic wrestler in American pro wrestling today. A natural star. There hasn't been a wrestler like him in a very, very long time.

Debuts and spends 2 weeks on Smackdown. Gets put in a jobber tag team with Tyler Breeze. Eventually they split up and both get released/sent back down to NXT.

I could see them making him the new Rico.

WWE wouldn't know how to handle his gimmick, and in a month, he'd be the new Rico.

Only if he is a rich boat captain and gives out fruit baskets.

Only if he is a rich boat captain and gives out fruit baskets. Only if for the WWE version of the Ashley Remington gimmick, we find out that he inherited his boat from Captain Mike Rotunda.

From the interviews I've seen I feel like he's pretty content with what he's doing now, and he certainly gets way more leeway with his gimmick on the indies than he would in the WWE.
Not everyone has to eventually make it to the WWE to have a successful career.

Considering what TNA did with him, I think he's fine where he's at.

People can be happy with their indy career, but that's doesn't change the fact that almost all of them jump at the chance to be a WWE superstar.

He would be struck on the NXT scene for a min because that's where the gimmick will get over. However, that's not to say he can't make changes to the gimmick to fit the main roster. The commentators and opponents would really have to put him over hard so the fans don't see him as a joke. Tho, u can't trust the commentators and they essentially will give him the goldust treatment of mind games and he's weird.

Only if he is a rich boat captain and gives out fruit baskets. Honestly, I think Remington is more high-concept and likely to be screwed up by the WWE. Castle is just a flamboyant, vaguely gay guy... it's the acting that pulls it off. But Remington is a super-good dude that everything always goes well for... but no one can resent him, because he's just such a GOOD DUDE.

I just couldn't imagine his gimmick not getting filtered and watered down heavily in NXT, if not scrapped outright. And hell, it'd be watered down EVEN MORE on the main roster.
He's a decent enough wrestler and certainly charismatic enough for the 'E, I think you'd have a hard time finding people that think he isn't. He's like Enzo Amore in that they could both do better in the ring, but the charisma easily makes up for it. The WWE is in a period where being very charismatic alone pretty much gets you in the door, you just have to not be drizzling shit in the ring, insubordinate, or have a very questionable gimmick...unfortunately Dalton's in that third class. And with there being no shortage of wrestlers with charisma in the 'E right now, the WWE really doesn't need him, and vice versa.

Met him at Rev Pro Epic Encounter a month or so back, the nicest chap and coolest/funny guy. He was considerably the most over guy of the night which contained such greats in Roderick Strong, ACH, Matt Sydal, Ricochet, Scurll and ZSJ. If that doesn't say something I don't know what will.
Charisma for days, he can improvise so well depending on his opponent and crowd, his in ring work is great (those deadlifts tho), he will make anything work etc etc. The man has a massive massive future ahead for him. WWE will come calling (if they already haven't) and I think he could be a major player in NXT/NXT Champion first before making it over to the main roster, the best road for him to take IMO if he was to join the company.

Agreed. When I met him last year, he was easily one of nicest people ever. I bought a t-shirt from him and tried to give him $5 extra just as a tip / sign of good faith. I asked if could he take a photo with me as well. When we posed, he slid the $5 back into my pocket. I was laughing so hard, I almost couldn't take the photo.

Only if the Boys come with him. I doubt they would hire his actual Boys and would just give him Tino Sabatelli and Hugo Knox or something instead.
