Who are the oddest pairs of opponents you seen make great matches when in actuality they should of been a stinker. Sheamus and Big Show come to mind. Their world title feud was surprisingly good but the match quality was better then expected. You can argue that they stole the show for their first match in which Big Show captured the title. Somehow guys get a natural chemistry with opponents you wouldn't even expect.
Who are your selections?

Sheamus/Bryan. There's just something about those 2 throwing down that always resulted in a great match.

I once saw a match between Kane and Test that I liked.
Kane. And Test.
Yes.

Bret Hart and Kevin Nash had remarkable chemistry and almost always had great matches against one another

Del Rio and Big Show, two guys that the IWC by and large dislike, had a surprisingly good series of matches with EACH OTHER back in 2013.

Roman Reigns vs Big Show at Extreme Rules last year was better than it had any right to be.

Cena is one of the the few if not only wrestler to get anything watchable out of Khali.

Daniel Bryan & Big Show had surprisingly decent matches when Bryan first won the World Title.

There was a Festus vs Kozlov match on Smackdown that had no right to be as awesome as it was.
And when I say awesome, I mean if it was at the dome, Meltzer would have given it at least four stars

CM Punk and Mark Henry.
Was far more into that mini feud than I was with Punk's actual PPV feud with Chris Jericho.

Big E vs jack swagger was a pretty good US Title match Similarly on the other side- Jack Swagger may have the best chemistry for good matches with John Cena, who never managed to see it capitalize with at least one PPV match with Cena in the process.

In a way, Undertaker & HBK go together like oil & water.
The rest is history.

I remember being surprised when AJ's strongest stuff on WWE TV (until his feud with Reigns) was not his series against Jericho or tag matches against New Day, but all his singles bouts against Miz.

Cena is one of the the few if not only wrestler to get anything watchable out of Khali. Rusev carried him to a pretty good match, even covering at least one gaffe on Khali's part, and Flair had a vaguely good match with him, but yeah, Cena's work with Khali was probably Khali's most competent overall. I remember being surprised when AJ's strongest stuff on WWE TV (until his feud with Reigns) was not his series against Jericho or tag matches against New Day, but all his singles bouts against Miz. The New Day match was really, really damn good, but yeah, Miz and AJ had fantastic matches, too, I loved that Jericho vs Aj vs Miz stage of the feud, with bad blood between all three guys.

Ryback vs Kalisto
Seriously, did not think those two would have clicked as well as they did...

Orton and Khali actually had a really good low key match on Smackdown a few years back.
