Now I know people are going to complain about him coming up on the losing end of his feuds but that doesn't mean they have been making him look like a chump. He's held his own in each of the programs he's had. Aj Styles is AJ Styles but I didn't expect them to put him on a pedestal in great back to back feuds. He doesn't just feel like another guy which is crazy to say after all these months. A great Jericho program, damn good matches with Roman in a championship program, and now a feud with Cena to carry the summer.
How would you rate his first few months in the company and how they are placing him?

They're treating him as a much bigger deal than I thought they would. For a long time I had him pegged as upper-midcard at best in WWE but instead they've pushed him as being on par with WWE's best.

He also had a MOTYC with Nakamura and helped to put Omega on map as top gaijin back in Japan.

He's been booked fine. I would have preferred see him be the winner in the WM program with Jericho, but that was still a dream match that I imagine many never expected to actually see happen. He's been treated as a main eventer.

I agree, he's been in main event fueds most of his run and even the Jericho feud was taken seriously. I honestly thought that after WM he might get relegated to helping put over the younger stars in the upper mid-card. Even if he ends up there after the Cena feud, he will have momentum and it will not just be another feud for those guys. He is being booked like a legit star, which is honestly surprising. Actually the TNA guys are doing bad at all in WWE, even though Styles worked ROH/NJPW in between.
My only complaint is now that Styles is heel, it's less likely we get a Rollins/Styles match.

Could still get it. Maybe do one of those matches like they did a few years ago with Orton/Sheamus and the fans cheer the lesser of two evils. Of course both guys would work the babyface high athletic spots.

I wonder how they view him in WWE headquarters. It inrigues me a lot. He's not won most of his feuds but he's had a highlighted first Rumble appearance, a match against a WWE Legend at Mania, a feud with the WWE Champ and now a feud with the Biggest WWE star. Yet he's lost more than a few of those matches.
When Styles and Cena were in the ring, evem though Vince NEVER acknowledge TNA it was clearly booked as "look at us, the biggest star in TNA face to face with the biggest star in the WWE".
So there's a respect for AJ's legacy there. I think so far, Vince as treated this almost like an initiation for AJ of sort. Like the new kid in a sport that the grown ups respect but they'll make him go on a trial so he can prove himself. They may make him Champ but right now they are having him meet all the WWE big dogs. And when he'll win something they'll strap a rocket on his back and not turn back.

Can't this guy buy a win once in a while? I feel they're doing to AJ Styles what they wanted to do to Sting, which was send a subliminal message to rival wrestling companies that "your best" does not measure to WWE.
And I was inclined to think AJ Styles was booked great, until the biggest babyface in the company just turned heel for God knows whatever convoluted reason, with a whole lot of losses to John Cena on the horizon coming for the next few months.
