Just watched this on Netflix and it was incredible. A great story, even if you aren't a wrestling fan. Wanted to make sure you all knew it was available.

Absolutely perfect doc. Definitely shows the ups and down of addiction and trying as hard as you can to rehab.

I watched it yesterday. I teared up a few time. When Jake talked about seeing Vince at gorilla that got to me. As did all of the guys at the crib watching Raw and having no idea Jake was going to be in the last segment.

Just watched this after I saw this topic, and man this was great.
And also scary.
You know, Jake just lost his mom? I hope he's got all the support he needs.
And it was inspiring, if Jake can get himself in shape in his late 50's with bad EVERYTHING, maybe's there's hope for me and my bad knee. I should do the yoga deal.

His story needs to be shared with drug and alcohol recovery/treatment centers. As someone who has worked a field amongst addicts, there are very few stories of overcoming the addiction like Jake and Scott Hall have done.
I think the yoga is so important to wrestling fans.

Awesome doc. Put it on a couple nights ago before bed and couldn't turn away. Even though I knew there was a happy ending, it just didn't seem possible throughout it.

I didn't realize he had that many relapses while with Dallas.
I only knew of the one (it's the one referenced while Dallas is talking to Jake while he is laying in bed).

I bought on blu-Ray, a week later it goes on Netflix. Oh well, I'm watching it now, it's great! What were the extras! Extra and extended scenes, commentary track, making of, audience reactions, reactions of the people in the house watching when DDP was in the RR, and Jakes HOF announcement. At the end of the doc, they thanked fans for making it possible, there were hundreds of names, and my name was on there! I marked out, unless someone else has my name, it was pretty cool to see.

I watched it the first day it was available. Was really excited when I saw it on the list for what coming in June. It is very good and the best part that it had a good ending when with a guy like Jake could been very bad. It is amazing what he went through but his never give up on over coming it drive was inspiring knowing for years he wanted to quit on everything the same with Hall. To see the end result them heather and happy compared to before depressed and waiting for the end.

I watched it a couple of months ago at the Astor Theater in Melbourne, Australia that had a Q&A afterwards with DDP. Watching it at the theater probably hurt it more than watching it at home. The audio mixing made some scenes hard to hear in a cinema (ex. anytime anyone was talking on a phone).
DDP mentioned that Jake is still sober to this day.

I watched it last week. It was a great documentary. Even my wife who isn't a wrestling fan enjoyed it. Jake is coming here in July. I'm going to get tickets. Has anyone been to his live shows?

I went to his live show. It was ok, it was supposed to be an hour and a half of stories, it ended after 50 minutes. I think it was due to some drunken idiot that kept yelling out random things and Jake got pissed and kept telling him to shut the F up. This was in sectioned off part of a restaurant/bar BTW.
There were some funny parts, vulgar at times, but that's Jake.

Just got done watching it. Some really powerful stuff. I definitely teared up a few times.
I always enjoyed Jake, DDP, and Scott Hall. It's great seeing them all do well. I have great respect for DDP for doing what he can for his friends.

Including when he made that video about wanting to bump uglier with Bray Wyatt?

DDP is one of the greatest guys in wrestling history and his DDP Yoga might be his greatest contribution of his career and to the wrestling business.
Also I love how this Documentary was executively produced by DDP and he never shilled DDP Yoga once when he easily could off. It really shows how strong his character really is.

I was really surprised at just how messed up Jake is. Some friendly ball busting from Hall sent him into a crying hysterical mess and probable relapse. Has Jake had any slips since the HOF?

See, stuff like that makes me wonder if those parts were scripted just to try and add a bit of drama to the movie. There was that scene at at least one other where I was like "well, that was rather odd," but I do t remember there other scene at the moment.
