After trying to get a copy for years, I finally got my most eluded WWE DVD. I paid a pretty penny for it, but still didn't pay nearly as much as its sold for in the past, which has been around the 150 to 200 dollar range. It almost feels like the end of a long journey lol.

I figured the holy grail of wrestling DVDs would be Wrestlemania 17. It seems like it's hard to find and you can only get it if you have deep pockets.

WM 17 can be pricey, but with the network the demand for it has softened. Also being that it was a WM, it was produced alot more than some of the really rare DVD's.

Got it for $2 at some local yard sale. Has no clue that it is a hard to get DVD. Won't part with it for anything. Believe me, I've tried to get it.

Thankfully you didn't watch any other WWE DVD or you would have aged at a rapid pace.

I have a question since I generally don't collect WWE DVDs - has the Network caused the prices to bottom out?

I have a question since I generally don't collect WWE DVDs - has the Network caused the prices to bottom out? I checked WWE Shop, and PPV DVDs go for $9.99. Yes, the same price as the Network Best-of compilations sell for $19.99, and Blu-rays (both PPVs and best-ofs) are $24.99. The only discrepancy seems to be this year's Royal Rumble; the DVD and Blu-ray cost $13.99 and $17.99, respectively.

On alot of the PPV's yes, but there are older sets that are pretty rare that more than likely won't end up on the network. Best of the WWF 2001, The collectors edition of Self Destruction of The Ultimate Warrior, and plenty of others. Those still command premium prices.

You'd think new WWE Blu-rays and such would be cheaper, but they do tend to do a yearly clearance at Wal-Mart on titles by clearing them off for $5.

So.. What is it? I did a little digging (I Googled it lol) and apparently it's a DVD of photo shoots that also has Edge showing his guitar collection and Trevor Murdoch doing a Cribs type thing. Now, as to why anyone would pay a lot of money for that I have no clue, but to each their own I guess.

The original WM17 DVD....what were edits and music like on that? There really isn't any. Hope "My Way" is your favorite song ever. It came out before the era of copyright fever.

Its just one of those things as a collector you love finding.
