So for all intents and purposes this is where the Bennet/Maria and Dixie storyline is headed right. Corgan has appeared two shows in a row so he's an official character and Maria told on him about they talk about how they could be running the show better then Dixie (not that it's a hard task).
However, another year and another struggle for power begins. Dixie is doing her(worst) best Steph impersonation while Maria/Bennett aren't necessarily clicking for me. They first threatned to pack their bags and leave TNA and then the whole they should be HOF I assume is supposed to be delusional heels but that's way past the realm of believability and takes you immediately out of the storyline.
Maria is now feuding with Dixie and there will be no match from this as both are non-wrestlers. Corgan will play a role in this somehow eventually for sure. I assume all the KO's will get dragged in this as well considering Sienna the champ wasn't even brought up tonight if i'm not mistaken.
Are you excited for another power struggle storyline because if not you better be.

Honestly between it involving Corgan, the timing, and some of the stuff in the spoilers, kind of half finding myself wondering if the reason for this is Corgan isn't as much of a minority owner as he's said to be.

I mean, this is a problem with wrestling in general.
People saw it work in the 90's with McMahon and Austin, and now every company since has done it. It's never worked twice.

Well it is TNA.
TNA can't go at least 6 months without a power struggle.

Austin/McMahon wasn't really a power struggle. Vince was the man in charge and Austin had little desire to actually run the company, just to drive Vince nuts.
I don't even understand how any of this is a power struggle of any sort from a logic perspective. Maria has no particular card to play here; Dixie could simply fire her tomorrow. Ditto Bennett. These two are relative nobodies in the grand scheme of things and it's not like the show wouldn't go on.
Why do I sense a Corgan heel turn in all of this?

At this point, even in kayfabe, why would anyone want this company?

There is no way, you'd put together such a sloppy angle to work the internet, which essentially buries the company. mind you this is tna

Power struggle? Of course there's a power struggle! They can't afford to keep the power on in their warehouse!

Give it a chance, guys. I mean I really enjoyed the angle yesterday on Impact with celebrities trying to take over that 70s show.

it's t.n.a. they only know how to do two things
1.) waste money. and B) have an invading force/power struggle for control of the company.

The question is who goes through the table: Dixie, Maria, or Corgan?
TNA loves power struggles and the money marks love tv time. It's the Authority with less power and even less respect.

Oh come on. You mean you're not even intrigued a little bit after that vicious slap heard 'round the world from Dixie? I don't know how MAria survived that type of devastation?
