I finally got to play a little bit (Switch came on Friday). Popped in Zelda and I'm enjoying it a lot. I really don't know what I'm doing half the time and I'm not very good, but the game does a good job of guiding me. I'm definitely looking forward to another session.
I also can't wait for NBA 2K to come. Should be here by the middle to end of this week.

Google translated the text, got this: "From 7 am on Thursday, January 18, 2018, "New play" using Nintendo Switch will be introduced on this page."
Either way, we'll know after 5pm EST.

That...actually looks really cool.
I hope developers are able to make games for it and it's not just the stuff included with the kits.

So... is that what that giant robot game Miyamoto was working on tuned into? Star Fox Zero came out, that tower defense one became Star Fox Guard, and there was the robot one missing.

Nintendo: Literally selling you cardboard for $80.
Yeesh, and I thought amiibo was Ninteno's most devious racket.

Looks kinda cool. Not something I plan on buying but it's not aimed at me... if I was a kid I'd be all over this however. Nintendo: Literally selling you cardboard for $80. Yeesh, and I thought amiibo was Ninteno's most devious racket. they aren't the first or only people to do that.

Man, they will not give up on this kind of thing. It's almost endearing.

These things can't be durable, can they?

These things can't be durable, can they? depends on things like the thickness. Knowing most kids though they'd probably break it due ot not taking care of it properly

I like it. It's a clever use for the Switch, gives kids a tactile thing to build and use, and looks like a fun time. Won't be for everyone, but not everything has to be.

I managed to score a Switch at a pretty good price thanks to OfferUp. Only have Breath of the Wild so far... and I like it. I can't say I love it yet, but I'm only a couple hours in. I think I'm gonna pick up Skyrim tomorrow, even though I have it on every system ever created.

The extra bits and cartridge are more what you are paying for.
