These ideas seem nifty. They'd be even more nifty if I could get the Switch to run without my right joycon disconnecting. Two returns to Nintendo and still no luck.

So I'm seriously considering buying one of these, you guys that have them, is it worth it?

Honestly the various indie titles like Stardew Valley, Golf Story, Mighty Gunvolt Burst, and Steamworld 2 Dig have given some strong replay outside Zelda and Mario.
There's loads of eShop titles that Switch's portable nature is just perfect for.

I keep seeing a bunch of people being salty over the Labo reveal, which is confusing the heck out of me.
Someone put a tweet out that put it how I was seeing it:
NINTENDO: Nintendo Labo is for kids and those that like kid stuff! ADULT GAMER: Okay, but what if I don't want it? NINTENDO: Totally fine. It's for kids. ADULT GAMER: Yes, but cardboard? Really? Not in my game room! NINTENDO: It's for kids. ADULT GAMER: But how is it for me?
I figure props to Nintendo for harkening back to their toy company origins and for putting out a product that'll help get kids into arts and crafts with a bit of engineering thrown in. It's not like the cardboard is $70-$80, it includes the game and the other stuff. Sounds fun, even if I probably won't be getting it. The silly slap fighting over it reminded me of why I get embarrassed to look back on the "console war" era when I was a kid.

I'd be bouncing off the walls waiting for this. Buildy stuff combined with Nintendo? hell yeah.

I am very curious about Labo, even if I don't know if I'd ever buy it.
Helps it came like, a week or something after a bunch of ports and a couple new games were announced, anyway.

There's loads of eShop titles that Switch's portable nature is just perfect for. Honestly I think that's a big part of why I never touch the thing. A huge part of the line-up for it is random indie stuff and by and large I just do not give a solitary shit about indie stuff.

A few weeks into having a Switch and I'm really loving it. Got Super Mario Odyssey yesterday - just a fun f***ing game. Seriously. I don't really know the first thing about Mario, but I'm enjoying it. Mario Kart should be coming today, so I'm excited for that, too.
I think the Switch is turning me into a video game player, which I never really was.

The kicker on this: in 10 months, the Switch has outsold the Wii U (14.86 million units vs. 13.56 million during the Wii U's lifespan).

Don't worry they'll be a few of those articles popping up in like 3 months... just like X movie is totally going to be the first Marvel Failure.

Didn't expect the pay service to be that late, but fine with it.
I worry the reactions to the Mario movie if Charles Martinet does the Mario voice through the whole thing.
Interested to see how a mobile Mario Kart will work.

I think I'd rather have a new Mario Kart game on the Switch, but it could be a fun little time waster on mobile.
