So... is one crew in Japan and the other in Hawaii? I'm so confused...

Just the one crew. They did a Hawaii show then a Japan show.

So neither of them were a Live special?
I didn't expect Bash at the Beach, but I thought we'd get a second Beast in the East special.

If they were, they would have been advertised on TV as such weeks ahead of time.

As a matter of fact, two are from Puerto Rico.

Japan and Hawaii are pretty close together. It'd be less practical to have two separate crews for that than it would be to go from one to the other.

I wouldn't exactly say Japan and Hawaii are "pretty close". It's a 7-8 hour flight. That's approximately the same haul if a PPV was in New York and the next night's Raw was in LA.

WWE took a tour of Hawaii and Japan. They went to Hawaii first. This was very common for wrestlers back during the territory days. They'd often work Hawaii for a couple of weeks, get nice and tanned, and then work Japan. Or they would work Hawaii after a tour of Japan before going back to the US.
