Not long ago I'd have said no, but Joe is such a believable monster again in NXT so yeah. I'd definitely buy it.

If they'd book Joe competently as a powerhouse enough to make me believe Joe might just win, yes.
If it's one of Joe's first matches out of NXT would be Lesnar and he'd likely lose, no.

Yeah. Not sure I could buy Joe winning at the moment but build is everything in that regard.

With the right build, it'd be the one WWE match I could imagine spending money to see.

If built correctly its easily a Wrestlemania calibre match, it just depends on the "Brain Trust" over at creative to give that match justice. Best way to build it up would be to build it up similar to Rock/Brock at Summerslam with the workout montages and both of them just wrecking people.

As long as we get a 'Rocky 4' type montage of Joe training

Nah, I wouldn't buy Lesnar as a threat to Joe. Serious post?

Considering Joe is still in NXT, not at this point no.
I'd buy Lesner/Cesaro though.

Thanks for sharing. Superb selling by both men.

I want to see Brock vs. The Miz and have Miz use every single dirty, slimy heel trick imaginable to actually get the win.
In fact, this is my dream WrestleMania main event.

The only thing holding me back on buying this is how quick and fast Leanar is, he would run circles round Joe, and I love Joe.

It's got the potential to be a rivalry that goes one of two ways. Done right, it could be like a 21st century Vader/Hansen. Done wrong, it could be like TNA's Joe/Angle, which, let's face it, precipitated Joe's descent into the dark days of bored, under-utilised, ninja-afflicted penisface Joe.

I'd buy the PPV, the DVD, the action figure set, the special edition version of the WWE game with pre-order downloadable content to re-create it, the lunchbox, and the flamethrower.

I can't watch NXT (no network) so I dunno how well they have sold Joe. I know Joe's work from TNA. Lesnar is the biggest box office draw in combat sports entertainment. Joe is amazing, believable and tough but I don't think he is in the ballpark of Lesnar as far as being able to draw maximum attention to justify WWE using precious Lesnar dates on him.

People have been wondering who would be the lucky one to be made when the invincible Brock Lesnar finally lose to someone. I bet Vince wanted RR to be that guy.
That someone should be Joe. At Wrestlemania next year.

I'd like for Joe to be the one to beat Brock, because I love 2016 Joe. I love that he's become this deliberate incarnation of rage who stalks his prey. He's like the killer in a slasher film, where no matter how fast you run vs. his methodical/menacing pace, you can't get away from him.
I imagine that 2004 "Lord God of RoH" Joe was probably a lot faster and more agile, but this "Angry Veteran who still has enough power to wreck you" Joe is awesome.
There's still some credibility issues thanks to Brock going back to UFC, but I'd like to think that HHH and co. could still build Joe into a credible threat to him (assuming that Brock or Dana White don't step in and say Brock needs to dominate for the good of his image).
