Sort of like with Sting/Undertaker, there is a part of me that feels like the time for this has long since come and gone-yet somehow it still has a certain appeal to it. Lesnar's booking has gotten downright predictable over the course of the last year or so, to the point that it feels like there is no point to putting him against anyone, because we all know what the outcome will be. But Joe has started to regain some of that old appeal from his ROH and early TNA days, making him look once again like an opponent who could plausibly beat Lesnar. And as much as anything else, the current state of the main roster leaves NXT as the scouring ground for potentially new and exciting possibilities when it comes to Brock. And lets face it-Suplex City meets the Samoan Suplex Machine practically writes itself.

Man, even thinking about the first confrontation between the two gives me a tingle of happiness.

I just don't imagine the chemistry being there for whatever reason.
I'd like to see Nakamura vs Lesnar.
EDIT: I'm aware of the prior Nakamura/Lesnar match. Each wrestler is so much more now though, it'd barely be the same thing.

Done properly you can sell anyone vs. anyone.
But Joe vs. Brock would certainly be a pretty easy sell.

You're f***ing right I would!
Especially if Joe comes out to "Another Body Murdered" by Faith No More and Boo Ya T.R.I.B.E. That's a badass theme, especially the beginning.

Nah, I wouldn't buy Lesnar as a threat to Joe.

Sure. But I'd like to see Owens v Lesnar as well. Or hell, a triple threat. Or a mini tournament bw the three, Shinsuke, Cesaro and Zayn, two divisions, round robin, top 2 from each advance, then best of three for the semis, best of 5 for the finals, spanning from Summerslam to Wrestlemania. Overkill?

No, I wouldn't like to see any wrestler I enjoy face Brock, because it'll always end up disappointing as long as Lesnar's set in the position he is.
"Oh, he's facing Kofi? I guess they'll have Kofi use his speed for a bit and have the New Day distract Brock before he gets caught and finished off." "...So they literally just did the 'finished off' bit"
"Oh, him vs Ambrose at Wrestlemania. This could be good, weapons and crazy brawling, more like his first match with Cena than the second." "... Never mind."

Would Lesnar be willing to take most of Joe's offense?

Absolutely. On paper, it'd be a hell of a match.
