Honestly my thing on DC right now is if Wonder Woman and Justice League are good, great. But at the same time really, with the foundation they've already laid and the things they have in mind for it going forward, I really don't especially want them to right the course on this universe and get something good out of it. I want them to kill the whole thing and then do it again so it's good from the ground up this time. I'd rather see all the existing stupidity and mistakes and weird choices done away with in favor of a new go at it entirely.
Not that solo bad movies kill a franchise for me of course - I'm kind of half and half on Marvel, but at least I saw and liked Civil War and I'm going to see Spider-Man, though Thor's up in the air and while I liked the original Guardians of the Galaxy quite a bit I have zero interest in seeing more of it. Not even seen all the Marvel stuff - never saw Ant Man or Doctor Strange and honestly probably never will since I'm really just not at all interested, and the only thing I've watched from any of their shows is the pilot of Agent Carter which I didn't really care for - and there have been ones I've disliked, like Iron Man 2 and probably 3 (came out of the theater liking it but the more I think about it the worse it is for me and I get the sense I'd hate it if I watched it again), Thor 2, Winter Soldier, and Age of Ultron, but at least it still on a level has me and it started right which counts for a lot.

Still didn't do anything for me. Too many of the beats and the setup of the series reminds me so much of the Avengers, that I can't shake the also-ran nature of these movies anymore. I think I'm officially over Snyder's involvement in this series, and can't wait until it's in someone else's hands who actually cares about these characters and doesn't have everything looking like it's one shade of gray. And Cyborg's CGI in his intro was terrible. People have been saying it's early and it'll get sharpened up by December, but jesus, people still notice this stuff. Sharpen it up now and make it look as good as it can. Also, am I crazy, or did that stupid hairflip that they had WW do look like the hair was CG'ed? Ugh. A part of me feels like they are going to drop the ball with Cyborg. I am sure in their minds they hope Cyborg becomes a big surprise hit in the movie like Black Panther was for Marvel but Cyborg is going to be a weird character to write. Do they go the full boy scout route like seen in Flashpoint paradox or do you combine in as a jokester with a serious side.

One thing BvS did right was Wonder Woman. In one fell swoop, they gave her credibility and interest in the eyes of even the most casual movie goers.
And it looks like the same may happen with Aquaman in Justice League.

She was the best part of the movie, but they also made her look like a total moron by just standing around picking her ass while Superman did the world's most unnecessary heroic sacrifice. And I just KNOW that Justice League is going to play her and Superman as best buddies when they never actually spoke to each other in BvS.

Just saw the trailer. Oh dear. Warmer Bros, if you want your DC films to be any good, for the love of christ, get rid of Zack Snyder.

The trailer does not look very good, but I will absolutely give them credit for making Aquaman look like the baddest mothef***er ever

The feeling I had was the same I get watching BBC Top Gear.
If Marvel is Clarkson and Co., DC is Matt Le Blanc and Co.
Same concept, terrible to poor execution.

eh I generally don't like those style of posters.
EVERYONE is doing that and it comes off as unbelievably lazy.
It's the new go to design like Character posters used to be.

Cyborg still looks like he's been ripped from a PS2 game.

Couldn't find an Aquaman thread but it was announced they're bringing in Dolph Lundgren to play a role.
Which is pretty freakin great.

Temuera Morrison is playing Thomas Curry I am assuming they are going with the original/new 52 origin of Arthur being Thomas and Atlanna's son.

Yeah I think the character will be more of an antagonist, which is perfect for Dolph. He plays a generic hero guy pretty well, but he absolutely destroys as the villain. His work in UniSol 1 & 3 was terrific bad-guy acting.

There's no downside to Dolph and Momoa tussling.
