I don't want that. You're kind of missing my point. I want there to be where you have the heel with the upper hand, but you also want the babyface to show that there is more than a chance that they will get the win at the big match. My complaint is that I can't take a babyface seriously in a feud where they are predominantly presented as either stupid or helpless. Becky Lynch is depicted as both stupid and helpless. And, I hate saying that because Becky was my favorite of the Four Horsewomen, and it pains me that Sprocket will probably never accomplish much besides being the punching bag of the Women's division. OK, so what is she supposed to do to not be stupid and helpless in your opinion? I don't think anyone is expecting her to become some paranoid loner that refuses to befriend people out of fear they'll turn on her, because I think THAT would hurt the character more than anything by taking away the fun personality most are attracted to. Again, you're missing my point. I just want her to have some fire where she says things that she is capable of backing up, that's all. Is that too much to ask?

Might leave it there since we've reached a stalemate of sorts, but I'm keeping faith that things will turn around for her. If you're not, that's fine, although I hope you're eventually proven wrong.

It sucks because I had so much hope for her. I don't know why they made her into Jillian 2.0.

It is obvious that WWE has given up on her, so I will do the same

There is nothing in Becky's booking that would indicate there are any big plans for her though. Let's face it. Losing to Natalya clean via submission is a horrible loss. It didn't make me think "Wow, Becky will get her next time!" It made me think "Wow, Becky sucks and is a jobber." Last month Nattie turned heel on her, then just beats her clean at a PPV.

Bret. They see Bret in Nattie and I guess some sympathy for Tyson as well but mainly Uncle Bret. Did you know she's related to Bret? Because Bret Hart is her uncle and that is why she should have a job. There must be another Hart in this World that is talented. Nah. As their involvement in 90s WWF showed us, there was Bret and Owen, than a cliff the size of the Grand Canyon down to the talent level of the rest of the family.

Yeah, she'll have to take that L tonight. Just don't really care for all the jobber talk when she actually has a winning record this year. At worst, she's not a good big match wrestler (1-4 in PPV this year). How many of those wins are padded by tag matches where she wasn't involved in the finish though? Just curious because in one on one matches the only wins I can recall her having is against Summer Rae and then one on Smackdown against Dana Brooke who she also lost to three times which is pretty bad considering Dana is basically just a lackey. As far as Becky's booking goes she's basically the female equivalent of someone like Cesaro or Ambrose until his recent success. Over face that's clearly more liked by the fans then by management, so they use him/her to put over people they like knowing full well that they're bullet proof and that the fans will still love them anyways because of their talent, even if they can't win a big (PPV) match to save their live. Yeah it sucks and it isn't fair but unfortunately as crappy as it is, crowd reactions don't dictate who gets pushed and who goes over even if it comes at the expense of shows being less enjoyable for fans. Ambrose and his fans managed to endure and he got his moment, so hopefully the same happens with Becky someday. Losing clean by submission to Natalya is pretty concerning though. At least Ambrose was "protected" in his losses even if they just generally made him to look like a complete moron (jobbing to a hologram, jobbing to a TV, getting disqualified and blowing a title shot because he wouldn't stop punching his opponent in the corner etc.)

I watched Battleground last night and it was the only match I skipped through. Couldn't care less about the two of them, but I was genuinely surprised Natalya won, which means they're drawing this dud feud out until Summerslam. Yawn.
