AJ vs Cena will settle their rivalry. Brock has Orton tied up. Who is going to be wrestling for the WWE championship??
Bray? Corbin? Someone not on the roster?

Wyatt.
Saw Ambrose/Wyatt for some upcoming house shows. I guess that's why the Wyatts beat New Day.

I guess Bray makes the most sense (and God do I pray he wins). I do wonder if they don't play that "Summerslam we mix the brands" card and go for Dean/Seth seeing as Roman lost tonight.

Could they possibly do Shield Triple Threat Part Deux?
There's really not a clear cut main event for the show. Reigns vs. Rollins isn't real exciting at this point unless they switch alignments.

Is it wrong that I'm glad this is a legit question? Makes the Title scene for Smackdown interesting already.

Spend a few weeks building up KO on raw and let the Zayn/Owens thing rest a while and Kevin would probably put on a great match with Dean.

Ambrose / Styles Sounds better. And after Summer Slam, you can have Ambrose / Orton Plus, there's always that guy we allegedly can't see either.....

After the big win tonight, I'd have to say Natalya.

I'm expecting that they'll do some Raw vs. SD multi-man match or mini-tourney for No. 1 contender honors -- explain that while the champ might belong to one brand, contenders for the title can come from either.

That's fair that it's maybe not as fresh as some possible matchups. I've never found Orton all that entertaining though apparently he was on tonight. Of those three choices I'd say Styles but he's stuck losing to Cena at Summerslam.

Go with Bray since you really don't need a stellar title match given AJ/Cena and Orton/Lesnar will also be headlining plus it would be great to finally give Dean the win after he got beaten into oblivion during their last feud. Then you can start opening him up to other guys like AJ or Orton. However, this brand split is going to require dudes like Corbin and Del Rio to be elevated. Otherwise, the main event scene will dry up quickly.

I just posted this in the SummerSlam topic, but: how about Ambrose vs Undertaker? Though that may be something they'd save for WrestleMania. He did wrestle last SummerSlam though.

Otherwise, the main event scene will dry up quickly. I'm expecting AJ to end up, in a fairly inconclusive way likely involving a surprise run-in to distract Cena a bit, beating Cena either at SummerSlam or Backlash, then that lead into him taking the title from Dean and them feuding a few months, before coming back around to Cena / AJ for the shows before Mania. No clue who on the SmackDown side of things is in a position to challenge for the belt there, unless you did AJ / Orton which sounds like a good match but a weak one for Mania, but hey, we've got some time.

If there aren't any trades to Smackdown like Cesaro, Owens, Zayn, etc., Bray or Corbin to me are the likely candidates...
