I'm happy for Sasha and glad that she's Champion, but I just have one question. Why? Why waste this on TV? Sasha is the most over of all women on the roster. If they gave this a good build and did it at Summerslam, the reaction would have been much better and it would have had a much better meaning. Honestly, I'm just glad they finally got it out of the way. Odd timing to be sure, other than I guess to have a big moment for the first post-draft Raw which is understandable, but Charlotte's title reign has needed to end for ages and everyone's known for months Sasha would be the one to end it so might as well just do it.

We are too conditioned to that. Instead of getting white noise for the next 4 weeks knowing Sasha is going to win why not throw her the belt now as flip the script. Moments like these need to be used sparingly but the big moments saved for the big PPVs is something that has to change & this was a good first step. For some additional perspective, the previous time a title changed hands on RAW was Miz winning the IC title from Zack Ryder the night after WrestleMania. The time before that? Reigns winning the WWE World Heavyweight Championship from Sheamus the night after TLC.

Just checked out Charlotte on Wikipedia. Learned that her dad is Ric Flair. Now I'm positive that Charlotte will have at least 15 more title reigns. Enjoy it while you can Boss Lady.

I hate Michael Cole more than anything in the world, but he did a marvelous job selling her moment

It's why I do hope Charlotte gets better at her promos, because in-ring she's one of the best performers they have and it gets overshadowed.
Sasha, meanwhile, is already there. She's the complete package. Great moment.

I'm really sad it didn't get a "this is awesome" chant from the crowd.
I legit teared up when she won, didn't expect it, and probably woke up the neighbors.

Sasha really should have won the title after Mania, but since they saved that moment for the eventual Sasha vs. Charlotte match, I think it doing it here helped this show more than it would have helped Summerslam. Especially since they'll do the rematch clause, and perhaps they could do a gimmick match at Summerslam (though they did pass on the opportunity for Zayn vs. Owens).

The match was awesome, loved the hell out of it.
That being said Sasha is gonna get hurt, her landings , overshooting moves and the like are similar to Ambrose. There's just a bad neck/back or concussion around the corner

Did anyone else notice Charlotte fighting hard to not smile after the match. You can tell she was happy for Sasha as well.

Pretty sure she was crying after the match and started to cry towards the end of the match. I noticed it at the time as well and thought to myself "wow she is really going to drop the title here?" She sure is like her dad that's for sure. Also...couldn't help but love the response from the crowd when sasha mentioned womans wrestling. Really makes me happy since I've rooted for them to be taken seriously for a long time so people can recognize that there are a lot of women out there who can and do bust their ass just as much as the men..and people want to see it. I mean it says a hell of a lot that the many of the top matches over the past year and a half have involved women. Makes me so proud of these women.

I've said this before but the way the women's division is being treated now makes me so goddamn happy....I was a teenage girl during the bra and panties era and to see these women being taken just as seriously as the men does my heart SO much good.

It was a fantastic match despite a few sloppy parts from Sasha like her first bank statement, the dive and I'm sure charlottes legs were under the rope for the pinfall But Sasha has that natural fire about her and knows her in ring psychology which helped tell the story in the ring very well.
Honestly felt like Charlotte was the MVP of that match. That moonsault was incredible and everything she does looks like it hurts.

Watched this match I thought it was both Charlotte & Sasha's best performance on the main roster and while it has Sasha taking stupid bumps and it wasn't as good as their nxt outings the crowd ate it up and they got a great reaction.
Any idea's who this ultimate boss Mia that Sasha mentioned in her post match promo?
