So this is a "NEW ERA" and yet the RAW theme sounds like something from a post grunge/nu metal artist circa 2000 and the Smackdown theme sounds like some EMO band circa 2004/2005. Would be the equivalent if the Raw theme in the Attitude Era was some Jingoistic Rocky Soundtrack song from the 80s reminding people still of Hulkamania and the Smackdown Theme was Warrant/Motley Crue

Raw's theme was good. SmackDown's was pretty bad.

It's ok they have the feeling of what your watching which is wrestling. It needs to sound hard hitting and fast not overly produced rap music. Rap music can work if it was heavy hitting but Tonights the Night did not work.

RAW's theme felt pretty "wrestling" to me so no complaints there.

I tuned in to Smackdown a few minutes late, so I never heard the theme, but the RAW one is laaaaaaaaame.

Eh, buttrock & wrestling always go together. It's not like they're gonna use Sufjan Stevens to get everyone hype for Monday Night Raw.

It's better than Tonight is the Night where the dudes who are singing it sound like they're literally falling asleep. What better way to get you hyped for a Three Hour Show??

I gotta admit though, those lyrics fit pretty well
Especially "They left us for dead!" when you look at three quarters of the current roster they gotta deal with...

The previous Raw theme sounded like they were getting you hyped for a party rather than a wrestling show. I think this new one has a lot more "oomph" to it.

Historically Smackdown's themes are almost always horrible. While not the worst one of the bunch, the current one started and my face was "huh....what?"

Don't mind either of them, really, but the new RAW theme beats out the new SmackDown theme pretty handily.

To me, the best Raw theme was Across the Nation and for SmackDown was beautiful people
