Give that man something serious to work with
He's been working the clown gimmick for a long time
Hell, Darren Young is getting a midcard push why can't Heath

Honestly, I'd have rolled with the idea of him getting into and squeaking out a win in the number one contendership match. It'd be an interesting little angle to kill some time and liven things up.

Thing with Heath is that he's just too good at getting beat up in hilarious fashion to ever move up the card. But at least he'll have a job for life.
And agrees on Darren Young. WWE is so disinterested in booking feuds for the lower card guys that we have to suffer through people like Darren being pushed above their station when not many people are particularly clamoring for it (and that's not me hating on Darren because I'm including guys I like in this as well). If Darren was on the same brand as Heath, I would suggest that he feud with Heath instead of being pushed above his station.

I think being serious would kill Heath honestly... he's too good at being the goober. That said doesn't mean he still can't get pushed and find ways to squeak out victories... followed by of course acting like he won the World Title at Mania. If Darren was on the same brand as Heath, I would suggest that he feud with Heath instead of being pushed above his station. getting a midcard push is not above "his station".

Hard to believe there was once a time when Heath was legitimate enough to pin Edge and Chris Jericho in the same match.

Na a serious gimmick will kill some of the charm of Heath. If he would be comparable to try to emulate someone it would be Miz.

Heath was over tonight and it was magical. I could totally buy him as kind of a charismatic jackass you love to hate. Maybe not IC Title level, but right in that area where Apollo and Neville are. Lower card guys who get consistent airtime and give him some real feuds.

Loved that the crowd started to chant for him with little to no prompting. Was a beautiful moment.

Heath Slater is exactly the kind of guy who should be wrestling for a TV Title.

He should make the title himself and have it be a reason why he should be signed

Heath: Arn Anderson
Shane: You f*** liar that's the ECW TV title. It smells like cheap weed and applesauce

No. I'm just saying a guy like Heath Slater who knows how to be entertaining even with a lack of push would be more Darren's speed (more so than a former WWE Champ who beat John Cena at WrestleMania). And it was more of an indictment of WWE's inability to book lower card programs. And I'm not saying that to be a "hater" because I feel the same way about guys that I like; Maybe some other talents wouldn't crash and burn so badly if WWE booked lower card programs instead of trying to shove them into uppercard programs or against guys who completely outclass them. Again, this also includes guys that I like.
