Guess they got tired of waiting for that tour of India to materialize. It would suck for TNA because those rights to WWE will be all Sony needs as far as wrestling goes. Unless Khali jumps on board to save TNA in India they would be screwed

If Sony Six gets the rights to UEFA & WWE, they won't need TNA. Sure, its more expensive and you won't likely get a major event even on par with the Global Warning Tour on Indian TV, but if handled properly, they can sell out some major venues and promote the highlights. And if Great Khali is involved somehow, I'd be happy.
They were essentially TNA's last major outlet & if this goes through, this may be, just may be the final, fatal blow

That tour has been now something like 1+ year in making, so they shoulda been able have it done by now. Especially when you count in the facts like them covering half the expenses and so forth. It was basically their last outside market now that UK's been wwe'd as well.

When you exhaust every single thing you could and still can't get right than it's your problem. They were given the money for that tour long ago and now they are turning their wheels hoping someone invest money into the company and keep Dixie as President.

Its amazing how even when they were willing to foot the majority of the bill, TNA didn't want to.

I understand the logistics and health risks but when you run low on options, you might wanna fulfill all of your requirements. Sony SIX wanted to help with mist of the costs. In retrospect, not going to India may be the final blunder.

WWE superstars always say majority of them get sick out there because u can't eat the food and shit but if Sony was willing to do everything needed than they should of gone along. Only reason I would think they didn't go is because they wouldn't be able afford whatever cost Sony wasn't covering

This isn't quite certain death, much the same way that putting ROH onto DA didn't knock Impact off, but it's definitely not good. TNA would have done well to ingratiate Sony Six to them and have them see the company as one that is committed to making a wrestling market out of India to at least some degree, because they would be much more likely to keep TNA around even with the WWE license. Instead, they took the advance money from Sony Six and lied through their teeth, which obviously is a shitty thing and is bound to piss the network off when they realize it's not happening and the company 'reinvested' that money into other stuff, and that's going to definitely hurt them, but they actually had a chance to get an edge over WWE in that regard by making Sony Six really like them, and that ship has sailed hard.

Yup, they had a "test run" on a halfway popular male-based channel, got cancelled. Before that, TNA ran permanently for about 6-7 years on German TV on pay TV and then free TV Sad, cause they had a devoted little fanbase here about 6 years ago, even a tnafans.de site and everything. They all disappeared

All they had to do was do their original tour, but nope they passed on a paying tour.
