"Pillar of Yiddish theatre" was all over Twitter and Facebook last night when this broke. His actual Emmy winning TV show role took a backseat to it, even. I enjoyed him emmensely on Picket Fences. He and Walston were a great team. RIP sir.

Man I absolutely learned that tv could be more then just vapid entertainment from Picket Fences and consider it the precursor to the modern tv boom.

Picket Fences was an awesome show.
I loved the episode where the jury found the dancing deaf robber not guilty because she was so adorable, only for the judge to condemn the jury for being idiots.
