I didn't think it needed to be the main event, and I'd prefer the win being by shenanigans no matter who won but it was good. It wasn't just a "plodfest" or whatever. It was two hosses try to beat the crap out of each other for their own reasons. People did that with Cena, and yet that didn't envelope the entire WWE section with cynicism like with Reigns. Even with people hating on Cena, the board still had a jovial fun atmosphere about it. Not really. Most Cena threads were pretty miserable and most jokes were usually at his expense. Is this another extension of the "FAN was better in the olden days!" thing or something? Its not blind nostalgia. Yeah there were threads bashing Cena but the rest of the board wasn't all swallowed up with it. Maybe there was a dark period before I joined FAN, but there definitely was a much lighter tone when I first came here.

If you found something good in that near 20 minute plodfest where Rusev threw everything at Reigns, he kicked out, and then just beat Rusev clean six days before Summerslam, then good for you, I think it was one of the worst things I've seen this whole year, about cemented me never cheering for Roman Reigns. I enjoy Roman Reigns and the DC Cinematic Universe. Gotta tell you, it's nice not hating everything all the time. But when the majority are haters, it's better being in the side of the hate wave than being on the side of loving something that everybody hate.

That is what making people rage. If the outcome was Rusev winning, the match would be praised. But because Roman overcame the odds and won: Worst Match Ever. Long before that match ended I was calling that boring as f***. I really wasn't at all bothered by the result because one, knew it was coming, and two, it pretty much means Reigns is losing on Sunday. The match just sucked. Though really, Reigns winning IS part of the problem, namely that every single match he wins has the exact same structure - he gets his ass kicked for 20 minutes then stops selling every bit of it, Superman punch spam, most obvious spear out of nowhere after dodging his opponent's finisher. It happens every single time and it takes you completely out of things because all of his matches feel like utter filler before his damage meter fills enough to do his comeback sequence. That's how faces have been booked since the beginning of time. And if we wanna talk about not selling, Cena took a phenomenal forearm, then COMPLETELY 100% no sold to give AJ an AA. At least Roman still sells after the match.

Personaly I thought the problem was that the match went on too long. But this is a problem with all the matches on Raw.
