Captain Birdseye - 'Ya Hungry Me Hearties?!' 'Eye Eye Captain Birdseye!' probably the inspiration for the opening titles of 'Spongebob Squarepants'. The Goodies did a good parody of it called 'Captain Fishface' with the ad ending with this message: Captain Fishface has your children. If you want them back send 2000 wrappers from Fishface Cod Pieces" Retrieved from " en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Captain_Birdseye"

Captain Birdseye is still around. For awhile they turned him in to a young captain in an attempt to be more 'hip' but he was so unpopular they went back to the old guy.

Little Penny, the dummy that followed Penny Hardaway around. Great commercials there. He dissapeared way before Hardaway did.
