I know I (and others) have a good moan about WWE a lot, and sure there's a lot that annoys me, RAW was pretty boring for example and there's the whole Roman Reigns thing... but I was just on WWE.com and noticed this tab of the latest results. It's a pretty cool time to be a WWE fan when you think about it.

Hell yeah it is. I don't bother watching any TV other than WWE Monday through Wednesday because there's so much good stuff on. And Talking Smack might be my new favorite thing. I watch three hours of wrestling content each night Monday-Wednesday. If newly released stuff comes out I watch it after CWC.

Oh for sure. The game's changed big time and I still kinda have trouble comprehending it fully.

I really wish Daniel Bryan didn't have to retire. So many possible dream matches.
Bryan vs. Nakamura is right up there with Eddie Guerrero vs HBK on the list of matches I wish would have happened.

The thing with RAW is that with the sheer amount of talent they have it should be the best wrestling show in the entire world. But the creative aspect really does make or break an entire brand no matter who is on the roster. Finn Balor and Seth Rollins for instance are two of the most esteemed independent talent in the world but when the feud is relegated to Seth repeating Demon King 50 times in one show to promote their newest line of tee-shirts they end up becoming boilerplate templates of a standard WWE superstar and are not the unique entities that got them into the WWE in the first place.
That being said, 2016 is quite possibly the greatest year ever in terms of sheer in-ring talent.

Let this sink in: -A former IWGP World Jr. Heavyweight and ROH World Champion are going to wrestle for a WWE sanctioned Heavyweight championship at the 2nd biggest WWF/E PPV -A former PWG World champion might main event the Tokyo Dome AND he's the first gajin winner of the G1 Climax -The Current PWG World champion and RPW British Heavyweight champion is wrestling in a WWE Cruiserweight tournament -AJ Style vs. John Cena -The sheer insanity of Lucha Underground -WWE is trying with women's wrestling. -Nakamura is in the WWE

Gotta say that this past year has indeed IMO been the most landscape changing year in this company I've seen since I started wrestling. From the brand split to the women rising up to the changing of the guard to all these new talent just everything as a whole, they're really doing their best to make it a New Era. While I gave them shit for it, they're really putting in the work now. All we need is a bit more push and we might reach where we need to be.
