He never should have picked on Heath Slater.

I've been bored with him since "Suplex City" (even when it still had "bitch" attached to it) became a thing.
Aside from him not giving a shit about Heath Slater's kids, it's been the same old boring song and dance that they put the entire rest of the roster's affairs on hold for.

Even Heyman's promos are sameish now. "My name is Paul Heyman, I'm the advocate of *insert many nicknames here* BAH-RRRRRRRRROCK LESNAR!" and so on.

I think a large part is, as noted earlier, all the matches are is him bouncing someone like a pinball. Plus, I think the doping stuff tarnished his legit athlete appeal. His image is now as a human.

I still like Brock, he just needs to change the gimmick from Suplex City to something else. Really, if he went into a match where they banned suplexes, it'd be much more interesting. Some of the stuff Brock did was great last night. When he shouldered Randy into the corner, he was really putting something into them. That beel that Randy botched the timing on and Brock just legit threw him was cool too. But the counting along with a bunch of suplexes in very stale at this point.

No.
Because I still love Brock. And Heyman.
And the tide of opinion turning just feels like an other example of the Hive Mind Wheel of 'Oh We Hate Them Now'
Happened with Roman...and Bray...and Punk....and now Brock.
I fully expect to get gutted for this, but I really don't care. I just call em as I see em.

You know why people SHOULD have turned on him and I never see it mentioned. The Austin podcast wherein he comes off like a jerk, asshole, tool and straight up admits that he doesn't give shit about what he's doing. There was always belief that Lesnar does love wrestling and people don't give him credit for it. But he doesn't. It's every bit a job to him he says so. He believes his own hype etc.
I haven't turned on him yet, but I am as close as ever. After that podcast I took him as a character on screen and still enjoyed him, and the ped thing didn't turn me either. But it's all adding up. If he doesn't lose to someone other than Roman it's nail in the coffin for me I think.

I get what they are doing and it's part of the gimmick he's going with, but they can't just have him do nothing but suplexes and leave. That was only going to work for so long until fans get tired of it, and now that time has come. I love to see more Brock but if that's all he's going to do, then it might be better of just not having the guy.

What's really done him in is that last night, at least event-wise, marks two years of Brock's post-streak final boss booking. Him not showing up for every show does help a little bit, but it's still such a painfully long-term act that really shouldn't be. I don't know what they're waiting for, whether it's for Roman to be liked enough to have him do it as originally planned, or if they genuinely have no idea where this is ending, but it's gone on way too long, and it was never meant to.

I don't mind Brock being a top tier, Geese Howard type end boss but just running through everyone is getting old. I think it would be pretty cool if they turned it into a company wide storyline where everyone ups their training and strategy to be the one that topples Brock Lesnar. Each match he has, his opponent gets a little closer to taking him down but Brock still overpowers them in the end, up until he meets his match from a man that spent months on end pushing himself to the limit to be the Beast Slayer. Cesaro would be my choice because I'm a hopeless mark for the dude but a lot of people could work with a story that's built up.

Lesnar is still the most entertaining wrestler on the roster in my opinion. I'll say it right now...I hate these new guys. There isn't a single one I find remotely entertaining. I'll put it another way...Miz has more charisma and personality than AJ Styles and Balor combined. These new guys...they have ZERO charisma. True...I never gave a shit about them enough to watch their pre WWE stuff with the exception of Styles in TNA.
I didn't like him there either. I will take it back a little bit...Consequences Creed/Xavier Woods is a "newer" guy and he displays personality, but man...the others I mentioned bore me to sleep. Now that I ranted on boring new wrestlers enough...back to Lesnar. He is the one of the guys on the roster I would legitimately shit/piss myself if I seen him coming at me. The guy looks like a monster and he brings a sense of realism to wrestling. It hasn't got old to me in terms of watching him slaughter people in the ring.
I'd take him over guys like Balor, Styles, Ambrose or Rollins any day.
