Yes this a broad question that even reaches outside of the WWE but for my money AJ brings it every time amd seems to be destined for the World title before the year is out.
Anybody else agree? Any other suggestions?

Nakamura and Lethal are up there for me as well. Tough call but I might lean Nakamura.

Sure why not. Since he came in WWE has given him the rocket like few others before him and hes taken that and ran with it. Vince or HHH or both love him a lot for what they are given him and he has deserved it and showed he belong

I currently put Kenny Omega above him right now not too far apart though.

Best in AMERICA? yes. Otherwise Naito, Tanahashi, Ibushi, Kenny O and Ced Alexander would have words.

I only watch WWE/NXT, so for me he definitely is. The things he can do and the level of excitement he can generate is unlike anyone I've ever seen.

My top 3 right now is him, Nakamura and Tomohiro Ishii in terms of raw talent and ability to put on great matches.

I'm not sure myself, but he definitely belongs in the discussion. Nakamura's up there. Jay Lethal probably. Naito and Omega deserve mention. As do Kevin Owens and Kenny Omega....it's a tough call.

Top 10, I would say for sure. Omega, Tana, Ishii, Nakamura and Okada are all either better or as good imo
and Kota! how did i forget

He is the MVP of the WWE this year and it's not even close. As far as best wrestler in the world, he's definitely up there in that category. I would give the edge to either Nakamura or Omega, but AJ is amazing.

I see a lot of wrestling, and I know a lot of others do too, so this statement is not meant to override any others, but merely to serve as a little backup for the comment below ...
It's really difficult for me to say no, he's not. I can't really say anyone is better than him. He's just got a game that fills in gaps others have. Therefore, I believe that he really is the best wrestler there is right now.
Two years ago, I would've said Nakamura probably. There are a ton of outstanding wrestlers our there. It's just difficult to say any of them are better than Styles.

Yea and I can't for the life of me see why Lethal (definitely some lackluster matches in recent memory), Okada (same formula every match, phones it in often & only great with other top guys), Nakamura (phones it in too much) or Omega (wow) would honestly be close.
I say Styles because he can have great matches with just about anyone. Watch his two G1 Climax runs, his TNA run and his current WWE runs. You'll see so many different matches. Tanahashi, Okada, Joe, Daniels, Cena, Zayn, Lance Archer, Naito, Suzuki, Shibata, Ibushi, Reigns, etc. The list goes on and on. Nobody is as consistently good with that many different types of opponents.
