Can his career still be rehabbed? Can he be taken seriously? Does he stay on the top of SDL?
What options are left for him and where is his place?

What is there for him, he looked like a f**** jabroni yesterday.
Dean said he was shit and then made him look like shit with no fanfare. Dean needs to come out of Tuesday with a impressive character change or that Summerslam experiment with Dolph will be a failure

5 way dance at WrestleMania 34 vs. Norm MacDonald, Darrell Hammond, George Hamilton and Jim Gaffigan.
Extensive build up program begins this week.

I was quite sure his next career step was to be a top heel on barren Smackdown.
Now? I think he needs to move to the tag division and just get away from it all for a while. Maybe team back up with Swagger.
The combination of nonchalant defeat and Colonel Ziggler later on was brutal, career-ending stuff.

NJPW?
Dolph might just do gangbusters there.
Or perhaps LU?

I was disappointed last night with Dolph I honestly think he either should of won by cheating saying he did it because he was a desperate man and angry heel gimmick ala similar to Owen hart. or Have lost and attacked Ambrose to get his heat back still turning heel. Maybe cutting a promo how he busted his guts for all these years and gotten nothing in return. Instead he is made to look horrible then dresses as Col sanders.

Even if Dolph does turn heel tomorrow, then I think they still f***ed that up, because that heel turn should have been a) at the show b) after a very hard-fought match that Dolph came up just short on, not a match he was thrown around and made a joke of the entire time. Last night made the guy look pathetic and like he really is all talk.

They kind of destroyed his credibility as a main event player last night.

I think he and WWE need to part ways for a bit. Let him leave on good faith to go somewhere else and come back refreshed with something new to bring to the table. He offers nothing to WWE in my opinion and WWE sure ain't offering him anything creatively. There's value with him but it needs to be mined out first. Let him go digging somewhere else for a bit.

Cut a down beat promo. Come back next week with an "aggressive" attitude.

They kind of destroyed his credibility as a main event player last night. I'd say it was gone well before last night. That might have been the final nail but the body has been in the sealed coffin for awhile now. As for what now, quit. Leave WWE and figure out who he is. Figure out if he is bad HBK cosplay or does he have something positive to give. Work Japan, ROH, Evolve, and other indies solo and with his brother or Ryback and try to find some reason for people to care or care again.

Until a couple of weeks ago I would have agreed with you, except they gave him two really great promos and outwitting Dean by superkicking him on Miz TV. It made it seem like he might have a chance and they'd book it right even if he lost. I'm not someone who thinks wins or losses are all that matters (ask Billy Kidman after 'beating' Hogan) but Dolph looked like shit out there.

He'll be so low that he joins The Wyatt Family.
That's probably why he looked so bad and why Bray was heavily involved in the build up to the match.
