Real etheral & introspective compared to how Channel Orange. A lot of people are all "uh wtf no bangers, 6.3" but I'm loving it. The instruments are pretty laidback: mostly woozy guitars and a few drums, but then you have entire string sections come in on a couple of songs, and it takes them next level. It really feels like a soundtrack for being up at 3am thinking about everything that's ever happened in your life. God knows I can relate to that.
Favorite tracks would probably be Pink + White, Skyline To, & Self Control. Not sure how I would compare it to Channel Orange. That was real big and boisterous and all over the place compared to how focused and intimate thia one is.

I didn't listen to it because I don't have Apple Music but am stupid enough to be all legit with my music so won't get it illegally.
Last Frank Ocean album I got a bonus track for buying the physical version. This time? The opposite.
So now because I don't want to have multiple music streaming services and actually want to give MORE money to artists I like by OWNING their records, I get f***ed.
Thanks Kanye, and thanks Frank.

Absolutely love it. I already like it more than Channel Orange and it is a strong contender for album of the year. Well worth the wait.
