The Fox and the Hound and Superman III are the first two I remember going to. I'm assuming it was Fox/Hound then Superman III

Pretty sure it was The Little Mermaid. Ursula reminded me of my grandma, I knew all the songs, it was a gas.

I saw Wayne's World with a day camp group. The chaperones said we were going to see Fries Green Tomatoes, but we begged them to let us see Wayne's World when we saw it on the sign. I still like the movie to this day and I wish you could still buy a box of candy at the movies for $1.75.

A re-release of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. Apparently I refused to stay in my seat and sat in aisle the whole time.

I am pretty sure it was the first Ninja Turtles movie. Me and my cousins all loved the characters so we wanted to go see it together and I think our grandma took us to go see it.

In pre-school we went to see Pinocchio and Cinderella. Her stepmother scared me.
With family, it was The Jazz Singer in 1980.

Beauty and the Beast. I cried so much when Beast first showed up that I made my Dad take us home. I was such a little weenie.

The Lion King in 1994. I fell asleep on my grandma's knee and missed most of it.

As said in the thread about it.. . Flight of the Navigator at the now closed Village Cinema Frankston (beach side of the HWY). Went with a group of other kids during school holidays activity program.

I want to say it was Aladdin, and I would've been 4 at the time.

The first Rugrats movie that came out in 1999 in Australia.
I remember the days when it took forever for us to get shows and movies. Weirdly, the first Pokemon movie (which was the second movie I saw in cinema) came out only a few weeks after the US. I guess it was because of PokeMania.

Superman II. Was a friend's birthday party. Didn't much care for it. Second one was Jimmy The Kid, a Gary Coleman movie. I still love that film. Pat Morita as a half-blind chauffeur, Don Adams as a private detective, Cleavon Little as Jimmy's dad...good times. (Damn...they're all dead. )

can remember seeing 101 DALMATIONS and a HERBIE movie on the big screen 1977 no it wasn't THAT movie it was SUPPOSED to be SPIDER-MAN but that was sold out i had to see one it was THE DEEP i was a bit upset then next year it was SUPERMAN THE MOVIE, went in just as that train went through, and the cinema was kind enough to let me and my dad watch it from the start again next was 1941, hilarious then, hilarious now could have went to see MOONRAKER 1980 was EMPIRE on my holidays, went in HALF WAY through, but this time the cinema wasn't as kind, they only let us see the first half this time. always remember seeing THAT the shining trailer! perhaps i saw CLASH OF THE TITANS, perhaps i didn't, but definitely saw FOR YOUR EYES ONLY

E.T. I was four, so I don't remember MUCH of the movie-going experience that time; but a lil.
