I hate face turns without a great reason. At the end of the day Seth is still a dick and has been for a while. If he comes in and shows humility then that would be a great first act to his baby face run.

The thing is Seth never wrestled like a heel. His moveset is very faceish and his attire is something that a cool babyface would wear. The only thing that changed about him was his attitude while his ringwork virtually remained something that a face would do.

But the thing I don't get is how can be a face, if he's with Stephanie, he can't possibly be a face. Do you hear the reactions she gets? It's the same person that berated ECW last night, it's the same person that said Daniel Bryan is not World Championship material. Fans don't forget that. He'll keep getting booed by association.
The Rollins face turn was supposed to work because the Authority was to kick him out, or he would ditch them as a whole. But the Authority split, and the fans cheered the side they're apparently not supposed to be cheering for.
Until Seth ditches Stephanie, this "face turn" isn't a face turn.

Seth wont turn face. Mostly because we all love HHH now. If anything Roman will turn heel and team with Seth vs a face team of Owens/HHH. Then break off Seth vs HHH and Reigns vs Owens.

I think we're forgetting about another thing: A face turn for Rollins so soon after what happened at Summerslam would go over like a lead balloon. I'm just sayin'.

He can be an Austin-like face and by that I mean he's still an asshole who doesn't take shit except he's fighting heels instead of faces. He doesn't need to be kissing babies and all that. He just needs to tone down the more asshole-ishness, attack heels and well basically be the version of what he was in the Shield when they turned face. He probably should drop that obnoxious evil laugh, for starters.

Seth should have a "tell all" promo where he reveals that he has a short dick complex and that it made him act like a (huge) dick from day one in order to overcompensate his lack of self confidence.
manhood problems would make us you all identify with the guy -> instant super face.

They missed the boat on this one already, like with Alberto, Orton, and all the other times they have brought a guy back as a heel so they can tell their story despite the audience desperately wanting to cheer them.

The crowd does cheer Seth, and when he came back many thought they'd go with a face run. Now is as good a time as any for a Rollins babyface turn, he needed something to shake up his character. And the crowd is accommodating. I'd love to see it personally.
Just wait until you see him as a babyface. He'd make Neville look like Bob Backlund.

The crowd only cheers Seth when he is vs Roman.
He does well in generating heel heat, I can't imagine that he'd be as good a face.

Well, they missed the boat with a face run when he returned back in May and then the following night on Raw and then on Smackdown, he insulted the fans. Was there a reason he was kept a heel? Could it have been that they wanted Roman to get over?

I wonder if this will shake out to be a pseudo-punishment for injuring Sting, Cena and Balor. Taking the guy they'd likely booked at least the next several months off the shelf right at the start of the "new era" may have put Seth in hot water.
I could see it not being an outright punishment, but more like they make him go tag with Roman again for a bit. Less "you screwed up, go to the midcard", more "prove your serious, go make Roman look good".

As others have said, he's got a face moveset that the fans would love. And he could be a face in the way Austin was. Don't change his personality, just go with his anger at being screwed over by management. You'll keep the personality that has many people loving Heel Seth, and won't have to transform into a pandering crowd-pleaser that kills most face turns in the modern era.

I've heard so many people mention that 'double turn' at the end of Raw. I just don't see it. After the reaction Owens got, he more or less turned, did he not?
I just can't see Rollins as a face. He's an asshole, so he plays the role of "MEGA ASSHOLE!" very well. He was just bragging about injuring Balor last week on Raw. I don't see how you can turn him so soon after that.

Very few face turns these days seem to come about from someone actually becoming a better person and actively atoning for their heel actions. Most just happen from either returning from injury, being betrayed by another heel or... just because, like when Cesaro/Kidd turned face simply by being heel New Day's opponents in 2015.

I don't think it's THAT hard to make him a face. Like I've said before, just have him stop cheating/blindsiding people. The rest of his character wouldn't have to change. The "smart-ass/bad-ass" character has certainly worked before and Owens seems to fit the role perfectly.

Yeah, but everyone on the roster except Miz because he's smart and the PTPs because they're shit are doing moves like that now. What makes Seth more cheerable than someone like Sami Zayn? Yeah, Seth got screwed by management, but he was expecting them to screw Owens on his behalf. At least with 2004 Orton, you had a guy who won the title cleanly who got turned on because HHH was butt hurt over him doing something that he couldn't. There isn't really anything that makes Seth the good guy when he's benefitted from management screwing people for two years. Also, it's gonna tank Balor's return badly if he can't come back to get revenge on the guy who injured him. See that asshole Seth, making me defend Finn Balor. F*** him.

Guessing we'll get heel vs heel Owens vs Rollins with HHH and Steph in each corner, until Steph turns on Rollins as well; and they do the whole authority thing again.
