Haven't been good for well over three months. End it and make them all apologize for being unfunny.

Not until they jump an actual shark.

I don't think they've jumped the shark necessarily, the gimmick still has legs.
But the material these past couple of months has been shit. New Day segments somehow went from being the best moments on a show to some of the worst.
Regardless, they're not splitting up or turning heel as long as that sweet merch money keeps rolling in.

I still like them but they don't work against anyone. They need the right opponents to work off of.

Kinda undecided on that.
I think acts like New Day are best when they have another great act to work with. Unfortunately Festus and this nameless bald guy aren't it. I dare say it but even League of Nations were better than this shit. At least with them you had heels that were fun to watch get their asses kicked and made to look stupid. Yes, even Sheamus is a better foil than these two are. New Day are a face comedy act that makes heels look like idiots. Again...they need heels who the fans want to see look stupid and get beat up.
The Club aren't it. Nobody outside a very small minority even care about Festus and the other guy. The problem isn't them as an act...it's the lack of good heels for them to play off of.

I think it has as the gimmick lost all it's charm when they went back to being faces. I liked the Wyatt feud as it was interesting and gave them a much needed change of pace, but the feuds with League of Nations and now the Club have both been a miss. As heels the gimmick worked and was entertaining because they were three goofballs who would talk about power of positivity in a insincere way and then they would win all the time through cheating and underhanded tactics, with them getting a lot of heel heat as result which was the reaction they were supposed to get. Then around Summerslam last year they started to get face pops which continued to grow and grow over the months to the point that they decided to turn them back faces, thus bringing the whole thing full circle. Last year they were by far the best act on the show for me, but this year I really don't care about any segment they're in because it not even remotely close to being as hysterical as it used to be.
Their act not being as good is just a product of today's fan base. In the 80's and 90's they could've run with them as heels for years, however due to the fans being smarter and cheering them for being funny and playing the part well, creative decided to turn them back to faces although honestly I don't think it was necessary as I think they could still work as heels in a guys you love to hate type way.

They used to evolve and add new things in, then they got comfortable and bled it dry. It's time to break Big E off.

I disliked the group from the moment it started, so it feels to me like there was no shark for them to jump in the first place. They have gotten much worse the past few months, though.

It feels like they've become the thing they got great by parodying: a lame, smiley babyface act. Like, they're back to where they started, but now they've just added a bunch of bells and whistles onto the thing they originally sucked as.

As heels they were my favorite part of the show, I even wanted them to freebird the World championship. Now I just don't give a shit about them.

Their segments are too long to have every week for a comedy act. So are Enzo and Cass's segments. After a while you go from using ideas you already had to feeling the pressure to come up with new ones.

I enjoyed them the 1st few months But at this point the gimmick is overdone and just irritating. Their antics have become boring and just too childish.

As a black man who's up on with "black culture" and hip-hop itself, I love the New Day's numerous references. I love that they're up to date with everything, it's great to see that in pro wrestling and have it work. With that said, they need to get more serious because I can't recall any black wrestlers who have had serious characters and can still be someone relatable. I don't know about you all but New Day's probably the most relatable black wrestlers to me personally, that I can recall since The Rock (none of that "Rock ain't black" stuff) and Mark Henry. We just need more of that these days. I just want them to be serious and not be taken as straight jokes. You can use the references and be funny and all but you have to make sure it works. New Day used to be able to do that but at one point you start to think "are these guys ever going to be serious?" and that's when the script flips.

Saying anything has jumped the shark has jumped the shark. Will jumping the shark ruin FAN's jumping the shark gimmick?

Hell as a pale ass cracker I find them to be the most relate-able act there has ever been on WWE tv, followed by Zayn.
