so he's going to be Tony Stark in one book and more old fashioned New York crime Fightin' Spidey in the other... that's kinda bizarre for the same Continuity. ........unless there's a change coming post-Clone Conspiracy? I mean, the way CC is going, a lot of Spidey things are probably going to have to be readjusted and/or broken to continue onward.....

I read it wrong I thought it mentioned the other book was going to continue, but I rereading it quickly it doesn't exactly say that all it says it's the same continuity as Amazing.

On the eve of THE WILD STORM #1, Warren Ellis talks about the project some more, and confirms.... {Spoiler}This is Earth-Wildstorm.
.....and that Midnighter and Apollo will appear - but not Steve Orlando's M&A; rather, new versions, thus keeping the current Midnighter & Apollo in the DCU for future use. www.vulture.com/2017/02/dc-comics-writer-warren-ellis-revisits-wildstorm-superheroes.html........unless there's a change coming post-Clone Conspiracy? Yeah, ASM is mentioned but he seemed....sorta vague? I'm guessing it's not a 100% collapse for Spidey (which I've just been expecting since he became Stark Jr.) but the way CC is going, if it just keeps trudging along business as usual, then - at the very least - PP:SSM sounds like a good place for the disenfranchised to go to enjoy some Spidey.

And it was a damn good comic too. Don't want to say much, don't want to spoil it,but looks like a major change is coming soon in the TWD comic.

Said it since I first saw his work on Alpha Flight,Jim Lee is great for covers, splash pages and posters. But for sequential art he is not good. It's like he is a mixture of all the best of Michael Golden and Art Adams but with none of either guys artistic storytelling skills.

If you are not reading Ewing's Ultimates - you are missing what I predict to be the building blocks of Marvel's next proper big event and the potential undo of the Secret Wars changes/way to get the 616 back to normal.

www.comicsbeat.com/breaking-news-only-30-of-the-news-on-comics-news-sites-is-actually-about-comics/At least this article says that this isn't scientifically rigourous, but it's a fascinating snapshot of contemporary comics news practices nonetheless. People could always repeat this analysis in future, 1 month, 6 months, and/or 12 months from now and we'd get a different picture. Or people can go back and apply it retroactively to something like comic news of January 2016. And I'm not sure what Rich Johnston's comment at the end is meant to accomplish, but it was funny and unsurprising to see it there anyway.

Loved Nightwing this week.
Batwoman Rebirth's art is awesome.
More Rebirth to come as I think of it!

So the cats out of the bag with Hydra Cap... {Spoiler}...as Taskmaster and Black Ant were investigating the crash that supposedly killed Selvig and Zemo and find a secret recoding device revealing the infamous "Hail Hydra!" moment.
Also in Steve Rogers #11 we learn Rogers programming by Faustus kicked in during the Super Soldier project and he was supposed to shoot Erskine but he fought it and Erskine started to get through to Steve...before being killed by Zemo. Zemo made it look like Rogers did it to preserve his place in Hydra and told him Arnim Zola would be taking his place. He defected but no one knew he was still secretly Hydra. That plants the seed for his programming to possibly be cracked later on.

Yeah, I really have no idea what's going on with Steve Rogers: Cap anymore. I thought I had an idea but several others things are muddying the waters and just making it less of a thing I want to read until he's fixed....

Marvel's getting a bigger presence on the newsstands again - they and Archie will be co-publishing MARVEL COMICS DIGESTS, collecting all-ages material (old and new, presumably) to be released 6 times a year at newsstands, comic shops & big box retailers. www.publishersweekly.com/pw/newsbrief/index.html?record=1210

Anybody having trouble signing into Marvel.com? I buy my books digitally, but I can't sign in on a computer. It keeps bringing me back to the Marvel homepage.

I've always thought Lee Weeks was an underappreciated artist. Hopefully, that AMAZING cover gets him some more love.
